Profits turned into buybacks, ok, but what stops the platform from dumping ICN right after ?!
Q: Honestly, is there a plan to make the value of ICN grow overtime ? According to ICONOMI, they have said that ICN will have a good utility once the platform is 100% complete and launched just before they begin doing marketing. Q: What gives value to ICN ?!
Currently ICN will be used for buybacks and burn, plus ICONOMI saying ICN shall have a very good utility once the platform is complete and marketing starts. That in it self should be sufficient to give ICN excellent value. Q: Profits turned into buybacks, ok, but what stops the platform from dumping ICN right after ?!
By dumping ICN do you mean by selling all of their ICN tokens? If so, the price would temporarily tank, but then on the next quarter report there would be millions of profits assuming that ICONOMI becomes extremely popular and successful, another buyback would bring the price back up. If you are referring ICONOMI getting rid of the ICN token and operating without the ICN token, I dont think this would happen. Repeated assurances that ICN will, keyword: *WILL* have a good utility once the platform is launched lends credence to a fact that ICONOMI has no intentions of getting rid of the ICN token. If you are an investor that is swayed by the tides of current opinion then you are nothing but a trader. If you are looking at the long term and will weather the storms then you are an investor. This is why staking is so good. It weeds out the traders from the investors and helps to stabilize the price of a coin. Been holding since .50 and rode up to 6 in late spring to ride it down to the 4's and back to the 6's. I will cash some out when Waves is worth more than ETH  |

It was the withdrawal fee at Bittrex a few months ago I think, long before the rebranding from Antshares to NEO, do you mean that? Now it`s 0,025 NEO at Bittrex. But I recommend to buy NEO at Binance or Kucoin, they will credit your earned GAS. thanks for the suggestion, didnt know that ! Unless you have a lot of NEO you won't be earning much GAS. LOL gotta love these moderated threads. There were lots of questions posted on reddit questioning PTOY days before the ICO. Always do your due diligence before investing in anything. I was a hesitant supporter till I read of all the red flags. Then not a supporter at all after reading them
Too many people expect to make 2-3x earnings merely by investing in an ICO. Or even a token that promises to secure your data and identity on the blockchain. We all realize that identity theft is a problem but look at PTOY and Civic. Until either has some good use cases neither will get you to the moon

It seems to me that the OMG needs to be in every portfolio. Great project. With a great team. I think he has a great future. What acne Buterin supports the draft also shows its value. In General, I think in the long this project is one of the best.
For sure is must be in protfolio at least 10%. But if you would like to stake when staking wallet will be released in Q1 then you will need more coins. I haven't read of any minimums required for staking. Have you any numbers to back up your statement or is this conjecture ? I had 1000 OMG at one point and foolishly tried to time the market buy selling in order to buy back at a lower price and the price continued to climb and now I am only left with a few hundred |

We all knew that this was going to happen. The dog and pony show about coinbase fighting for it's customers was nothing but show. We knew that there would be a compromise. I never kept anything on Coinbase.
When I bought I immediately transferred out to Polo or Bittrex. Now both of these have KYC and Bittrex stopped allowing withdrawals from non verified accounts. So I am compromised there. I cleaned out my unverified account from Polo but had to verify because I missed the deadline on Bittrex.
Now all my trading is done offshore. Bitfinex, Binance and Openledger.
Who else is making the same moves ?
Am I the lone ranger in not wanting to fund wars, locking up people for life for small crimes and the police state that we now have in the US ?

I think in the short term we will see a decline but it won't go back down below $100.
But in the long term this news about Coinbase handing over records to the IRS is going to make people wake up and realize that they need to have an anonymous coin where you can't track funds or see what is in peoples wallets.

If it were me I would convert to BTC or Dash and sell on https://wallofcoins.com/en/ This way you can avoid any problems with taxes and ID verification. Since it is only 5k you shouldn't have any issues with KYC or AML When you sell on wallofcoins you can also sell at a premium that automatically adusts throughout the day with the price of the currency. So you can just peg it at like a 5 or 10% premium |

So the client is still in closed Beta. Does this mean we no longer have access to the funds in the lite client ? I just loaded it up on a new computer and it is not showing any balances yet when I go to Waves Explorer the balances do show

With Bitcoin reaching crazy highs along with Dash and Monero I am thinking of the dust I left everywhere. The .1 Dash that I was tipped when I joined the slack and never moved to my wallet is now worth $60. The rewards I get for shopping with BTC and still have on one account is now worth enough to repurchase said products.
Anyone else have stories to share about $ left in old wallets or just threw away their wallets on an old computer ?

I don't know where are you guys looking at coinmarketcap Are you referring to this link right now it's trading on $500 on Korean exchanges. Korea has more awareness about cryptocurrencies all markets have more high rate than others countries. Why would they stay on a korean exchange and overpay vs going to binance and pay 10% less. Does it mean I have to keep my coins/tokens in an online wallet or an exchange?
You can store them in myether wallet or the exodus wallet. If you have an amount of tokens that you would not want to lose I would suggest purchasing a ledger nano s for around $65 US. There isn't an app for FUN but you will be able to using the Eth app. You can also purchase one using alt coins at purse.io just be sure to fund your wallet and setup 2fa before making a purchase there |

Personally I think that it automatically rejects everyone trying to do basic verification. I know that my info is out there for mortgages and etc. This is just a ploy to gather more intel and data on every customer so they can hand it over to the government.
Once I verify I am done with them. There are better exchanges out there. I never did like bittrex, better than kraken which is horrible but not not much better
