301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware JAAC giftcards is a scam on: January 04, 2018, 12:23:36 PM
Up, let's bring this thread to the top, it'll have a higher chance to be read by someone before he's caught in a scammer's trap.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont waste your money on gambling websites except this on: January 03, 2018, 10:31:32 PM
Your site is no exception, a gambling site isn't made to make money, but to waste some instead. Gambling is a game, not a way to earn money.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your New Year Resolutions for Bitcoin in 2018? on: January 03, 2018, 02:43:55 PM
My 2018 resolutions about bitcoin : hold those I have, buy more if I can, and don't risk losing some in gambling games.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: January 03, 2018, 02:41:13 PM
Ouch! I can't believe I just hit 15 Highs in a row on 2.0 Multiplier (47.5% win chance). I just lost almost 0.5 BTC  Shocked

That was like a 0.003% chance of happening, that's about 1 in 32,768 rolls. I guess it happened. Goodbye Multiply BTC  Cry

that's why sometimes (if not most of the time) you should do alternate hi-lo bets
alternate bets work well on multiply btc freebitco.in, just need to stay alert when the pattern against it
sometimes you will get long streak of mids roll numbers between 4800-5200 which is black hole Tongue

That won't work more, you can have long loss streaks with alternate as well. In any martingale strategy, or in any strategy btw, whatever the winning odd, the probability to lose n times in a row is never equal to zero. It may be very small, but if you play for a long time, the risk to play this particular losing streak is greater.
305  Economy / Services / Re: GRAFT - Credit Card and Crypto Payment Processing Network | Signature & Avatar Campaign | [CFNP] on: January 03, 2018, 11:07:03 AM

Mr Edwardard,
Just want to inform you incase there is any available slot. I have been upranked to Senior member and have inserted the require signature code.
Thanks

Same situation for me, I've been promoted to Sr. Member, so I've changed signature accordingly. If there's another spot free, I'll be happy to be upgraded to a Sr. Member spot in the campaign. If there's not I'll keep my full member spot. Thanks.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great News For Bitcoin! Lightening Network First Payment Was Successful! on: January 02, 2018, 10:58:25 PM
It's indeed a good news, that bitcoin transaction can be fast and cheap. Now we need to have it implemented on every transaction to really push bitcoin up from where it is now. It's a first step, but there's still work to be done.
307  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: January 02, 2018, 09:00:48 PM
LOTTERY ROUND 135
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #10 with 20 tickets.
#1 won 0.86325211 BTC with 3,124 tickets.

This sites lottery system is always a hot topic, I used to buy lot of lottery but I never won so I stopped buying, then there were people on this forum who said they won the lottery and that's was nice to see, for me I won the 9999 number that's only close I came to winning big on the site, but yet I like this site, though now due to low facuets I quit it, it's yet one of the best sites for every one free facuets, free interest, one can't really complain.
You also get free lottery tickets on each faucet claim. lot of people have been getting lucky with just few tickets, one could easily get 400 tickets a week(in their free time) and maybe win. Cheesy

Supposed you can play free roll 15 times a day (that leaves an 7-8 hour sleep, in the average), then you earn 30 tickets a day, 210 a week for free with no risk (unlike tickets won at hi lo game).
Some people won with only 2 tickets. So it's luck, but everyone has a chance.

Intéressant en effet, vers une solution possible pour sortir des congestions du réseau actuel et des frais élevés qui en découlent.
309  Economy / Gambling / Re: What about the "trusty" games on: January 02, 2018, 03:58:53 PM

I do understand the provable fair system and have done my homework so...
My point is ,how can you be so sure that the seeds generated by client or the server are not manipulated ? Have you studied any of those algorithms ? I don't think so...You're right about the nonce change but seeds can be randomised or manipulated..
Player can manipulate result only if he knows server seed, which is pretty much impossible.
Casino can manipulate result because they know both player and server seed.
Nonce(or bet number) is solving this issue, so as long as you don't want to change client seed server seed should remain the same and only your bet number is changing. Take stake for example, unless you don't change client seed nothing is randomized leaving no room for manipulation.

But i believe there is some site that offer us to change seed. Which seed are those? But in the end we can't manipulated the result so what seed we need it? If you said server seed, I do not think that we can get that easily. I think some there are some people that keep changing their seed so you mean that their bet can be manipulated by server?

It's always your seed (client seed) that you can change at will. You can't know server seed before the draw has been realised. To check if server seed hasn't changed at the advantage of the house, you can check encrypted server seed after the draw with the one provided before.

"This user's email address was changed recently."
You took someone else's account and don't care about ruining it, do you?
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be $100,000 by 2018 on: January 02, 2018, 10:43:16 AM
Price will be 70 k end of 2018.
Different people have different predictions about the price. Time will tell us the right price at the end of this year. I think that 70k is a huge amount and 100 k is far beyond the limits. People are investing in a huge ratio but may it not reach to this level.

There is a huge gap between today’s price and 100k. It is possible in the next few years but may not possible in the next year. The price fell down at the end of the year.

Huge gap in price (90 k$), but not in percentage, as it's less than 1000% rise. We did better in 2017 jumping from 1000$ to 13 k$ (+1300%). Indeed the gap in price is smaller (+12 k$).
From now, however, 100 k$ will be hard to reach in the near future if bitcoin doesn't evolve to be able to sustain high transactions number that a wider adoption supposes. Bitcoin will have to find solutions as segwit or Lightning Network to be able to support more transactions without asking for higher fees and too much time.
312  Other / Meta / Re: This forum has become shit on: January 02, 2018, 09:39:02 AM
  • People are scamming everywhere.
Those things on the OP actually reflects the internet itself. I mean, it's not just happening on this forum but also all over the internet.

Here's the thing, the forum is not perfect and there's nothing we can do about it. Even if there was, it just needs a lot more effort than you've expected.
Just focus on the new forum and hope the migration goes well.

There's hardly anything done here about known scammers. I know it's not perfect, but at least we couls ban recognised scammers (and there are several in circulation, just have a look in the "digital goods" subsection).
Is bitcointalk full of scammers because Internet is full of scammers, or is Internet full of scammers because some forums like bitcointalk gives them full tools to practise their robbery without repression?
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018? on: January 02, 2018, 09:08:09 AM
Don't forget that bitcoin is decentralised, thus against bank system that actually controls financial world.
It's then normal from all banks to be against bitcoin and to predict its fall. Many people think they are right because they are financial specialists, but their point of view is biaised.
314  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware JAAC giftcards is a scam on: January 01, 2018, 04:39:07 PM
Maybe make a thread in the digital goods section and bump it each time he bumps his..  Grin
The thread will most probably be moved by moderators if not related to a digital good. This forum helps scammers indirectly.

yeah I noticed that, well doesn't hurt to make them work a bit, haha Smiley

If they want to do useful work, they would rather clean all scam threads, ban all scammers. That would be more useful than move a warning thread from digital goods to here where no one goes.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too Many Gloom & Doomers! on: January 01, 2018, 02:14:47 PM
Of course there is a panic, because there is a big hype for months now, and out of control frenzy ever since the price overtook 10k USD.
I am amazed at the number of people with no knowledge at all about Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in general, yet buying and holding, they are the ones panicking at the moment, because they don't understand what is happening. Get some knowledge, try to understand what you invested into. This is not true only for cryptos but anything you invest into.
Make yourself a favor and read this e-bookWink

Thanks for the link to your e-book, looks interesting, I'll definitively find some time to read those 300 pages.
Yes bitcoin comprehension is a basis before investing. Price now is slowed down with end of the year holidays in many countries and by blockchain congestion (that leads to higher fees).
Trading volumes will go up shortly, but price may go down at start if bitcoin keeps high tx fees.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is coming on: January 01, 2018, 02:07:24 PM
Happy new year to all Bitcointalk community, and we wish another great year for bitcoin in 2018 after its more than 1000% increase in 2017.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 10:40:34 AM
I save for now, but in a few years I hope bitcoin will be widespread more than today so I can buy goods with, then I'll spend some. Now we can hardly buy things with, and transfer to € is taxable by my government.
318  Economy / Services / Re: GRAFT - Credit Card and Crypto Payment Processing Network | Signature & Avatar Campaign | [CFNP] on: January 01, 2018, 09:39:39 AM
I also confirm I've received payments for weeks 4 and 5. Thanks.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic for 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 09:14:50 PM
Yes, optimistic too for the year to come, bitcoin will learn to grow and become a widespread currency in 2018, with an increased value compared to inflated fiats as usd or €
