341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: December 25, 2017, 12:42:11 PM
Yes, the 1 million bitcoin of the dead person will still exist, but won't move anymore because no one can make them move from a wallet to another.
This, so far, explains too why bitcoin supply is limited, and decreases with time. Now it's compensated by btc mined, but mining won't last forever (bitcoin income for miners decreases every 4 years).
342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware JAAC giftcards is a scam on: December 25, 2017, 09:58:54 AM
Amazing.  There are literally dozens of scammers that are so obvious and so blatant that I am beginning to wonder if there is some sort of "collusion" going on here.  Maybe there should be a special counsel appointed to investigate possible collusion.  LOL

Maybe JAAC(off) is providing kickbacks.

It's so easy to scam people apparently, so better be a scammer here, more profitable than participating in signature campaigns. That's why there's more and more.
343  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] How to spot a scammer (Read this before doing any transactions!) on: December 24, 2017, 10:20:40 AM
This thread should be stickied as well on top of every "goods" subsections. Newbies don't come here to read it before they are scammed by thieves who spread in this forum.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could go to $1,140... call me crazy on: December 23, 2017, 10:26:23 PM
90% is too much, even for the worse crash in BTC history, no asset would devaluate that much, it could only happen if 50% of the holders sold

It could happen not if 50% holders sell, but if there's nobody left to buy. It's always ask and offer. If there's less buyers than sellers, price goes down.
345  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Coinpot help on: December 23, 2017, 08:13:29 PM
If your status is "completed" then it awaits confirmation from miners, can take a few days. But it will come.
If you don't have status "completed" on coinpot then your money has vanished, they have selective payments and don't pay everyone.

I very much doubt they have 'selective payments'. In fact CoinPot is a very reliable microwallet that always pays unless you have violated their T&Cs by using multiple addresses/VPN etc.

They have. My first account has never been paid, and I never used VPN or anything against their T&Cs.
I had to create another account, which works good so far, except today with the maintenance.
346  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you have issue today with moonbit.co.in ? on: December 23, 2017, 07:58:52 PM
Offline for me too, I just hope they'll be back quickly or I'll lose my daily bonus.
347  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebitco.in || Automatic Betting Script on: December 23, 2017, 07:56:42 PM
1) there's no script that makes you win for sure at a dice game with 5% house edge. Using this script will make you lose your balance at the end.
2) referrals links aren't allowed.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Y'all are traitors, thinking of BTC value as related to USD on: December 23, 2017, 05:40:40 PM
We're not traitors, but we compare bitcoin to the money we use daily, because it is how we valuate goods. The day everything will be priced in Bitcoins we won't talk with usd or € anymore.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Same Scenario like end of 2013? ( bitcoin crash ) on: December 23, 2017, 12:52:19 PM
No, not the same scenario because there are more exchanges now, and every bitcoin dip this year was temporary because many people wait for those dips to buy more. Bitcoin has a strong support right now, at least from investors.
350  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 23, 2017, 11:41:12 AM
Faucet only user has to claim quite a long time already to be able to withdraw (30000/15 = 2000 hours, about six months with 12-15 claims a day), and the fee means 200 claims are done to pay the miners and not to fulfill the wallet. I understand new registered people won't stay long.

Wrong equation. It is not 30K satoshi fee but it is 3K satoshi fee.

That brings down to just 200 hours - Average 10 hours claim per day means 20 days and it is no way a good option for anyone to earn money from this site because it is like people working for miners, not for themselves so should find other ways to earn money online.

Yes, but I was talking about minimum withdraw amount, 30k satoshi actually. A brand new user will have to collect free rolls for more than six months before being able to withdraw anything (with hypothesis of a fixed bitcoin price, the more it increases, the longer it is to reach 30k threshold to withdraw). And among those six months, 1/10 of the claims are for the miners.
351  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jaac Gift Card Scam Alert on: December 23, 2017, 11:27:05 AM
SCAM - I paid Jaac $140 USD in the form of LTC for Amazon GC. He failed to deliver or respond after he received the funds. Putting everyone else on notice of this individual.

How come you ever made a deal with this guy? Self moderated and locked thread of his, so no one can complain against him. And his trust is all red!
We really need a stickied thread on top of every goods sections for newbies to read before any deal.
Rules : do not tread with
- self moderated thread author
- locked thread author
- any red trust author (check also untrusted feedbacks, some may be relevant)
- always use escrow (not provided by the seller)

Check also here in scam accusations if your seller isn't already under accusation. A "jaac" search returns this thread as first result : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2326746.0
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on Bitcoin? What do you think the future of Bitcoin is? on: December 23, 2017, 10:04:54 AM
What is your opinion on Bitcoin? What do you think the future of Bitcoin is?

DEAD!
À few arguments to explain your point of view?

I think bitcoin is stil young, not well developed for a massive use yet. That's why tx fees are so high now, because many people use it and higher fees are done first. Either core bitcoin developers adapt bitcoin to a massive usage (with lightning network and a fully supported segwitx2 for example), either another crypto will take the lead.

354  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in DICE SCRIPT (FREE) on: December 22, 2017, 05:47:51 AM
There's NO working script on any dice game that guarantees you to earn money. The only thing you can be sure about if using a script is that you'll empty your balance sooner or later.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of Bitcoin or just the usual dumo and pumo ? on: December 21, 2017, 10:54:39 AM
most of EU will ban bitcoin starting with France.

French president asked for a regulation at G20, not a ban at all. There's no way a country could ban bitcoin without regulating the Web.
356  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 20, 2017, 10:30:30 PM
~~ ANNOUNCEMENT ~~

Friends, it's true...starting Sunday, December 24th GMT we will be instituting a 3,000 satoshi fee for each auto-withdrawal. We need to do this to offset the cost of increasing Bitcoin transaction fees.

I know this may come as a disappointment for some of you, but we'll have some more exciting news at the start of the New Year!

If you have any questions or issues with your account please PM me.

Will the 3000 Satoshi fee be enough for each withdraw? Because looking right now you need to pay at least 500 Sats per byte just to get it confirmed in a few hours. With a min 1 input and 1 output transaction that is around 0.00100000 BTC, so the 3000 Sat fee you are charging will end up losing you money.

I hate to say it but until Lightning network or Segwit gets majority usage, it would be best to use ETH or BCH temporarily because paying these high fees for small withdraws is just crazy.

Like everybody said before. Bitcoin is more of a store of value rather than a daily currency you can use.

They were already losing money with free Sunday withdrawals. 3000 sat fee is here to reduce the loss, I think, not to earn money from users' withdrawals.
357  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 20, 2017, 09:19:55 PM
Hi , freebitcoin fans , I'd like to know wether we can send bitcoin from one acc to another ( withdraw from an acc to deposit it into another acc of a friend / family members ?

You can, just by using the deposit address of the freebitco.in account you want to send btc to. Fees are applying, of course, like any transfer from your account to a wallet.
358  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase stole my money? on: December 20, 2017, 08:22:47 PM
I did money transfer sunday evening and now it is already wednesday evening....and still my money has not arrived in my coinbase account....
did they stole my money?
I send like 2000 usd....my first transfer ever....my bank said it shoudl arrive already

Of course you did everything as expected, including mentioning your Coinbase reference in the remarks of your bank transfer, so that Coinbase knows where to put money to.
359  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [NEW] Discounted Gift Cards - Verified Paxful Seller (WALMART, AMAZON, TARGET) on: December 20, 2017, 11:27:52 AM
Your Amazon cards are only available for US stores, aren't they? You should precise the country(ies) where it's valid in first post as this forum is read worldwide.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is DEAD Again!! on: December 20, 2017, 10:10:53 AM
Damn, a dead coin worth more than 15 k$? What would it be worth when it'll resurrect?
