1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: September 04, 2018, 02:53:36 AM
How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
Investing in Crypto for long term is perfect idea for people who have additional money that can be forgetten for years, because we are in the early phases of crypto adoption, and the total market cap will be much higher after few years, I think the safest choices are the top market cap coins.

Short term investors are facing lots of difficulties in global crypto markets. They make mistakes by going short term because crypto is a progress and this should be made in long term. The best long term investment is ethereum and bitcoin to me.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: August 18, 2018, 03:22:22 AM
The falling trend continues. It seems to me that the periods of the market fall will be much longer than the periods of growth. We do not need to hope that we will get a good profit from crypto in 2018.

After january 2018, the market was almost reddish in every manner. This was very bad for crypto holders and blockchain community. The rest is almost about 4 months and there is no good news.

But I know next years will be much more amazing than 2017.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: July 12, 2018, 07:07:38 PM
It really depends on the project, there are some extremely popular ICO's even during 2018, shilled by so called "whales" and some social media personalities with huge networks

of influence. In fact, the term whale perhaps only applies correctly to ICO investments. What happens for these projects is that usually ICO reaches hardcap within a couple of

days, if not hours of the announcement. If the hardcap is also on the lower end like 10 million USD, the exchange price might never come back to the ICO levels, and just take

off. In other less popular projects with more risky teams, etc. you can usually get it cheaper on the exchange during these bearish markets.

There are 2 major options when you think of investin in an ICO.

1-You aim for great profits like 5x or 10x and then you need to buy during ICO so that you won't miss it.

2-You be conservative and you think the token price will be even lower when it gets listed on an exchange. Then you can buy it through the exchange.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: May 25, 2018, 07:51:46 PM
If I work with a relatively new coin, then I analyze data on community activity, developers, technology, carefully study the assessments and opinions of experts in different ratings.

Coins having their own blockchains are generally good, I don't mean erc20 tokens here of course. Projects are developing their own blockchains and this makes them much stronger.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: April 20, 2018, 01:30:52 PM
I will choose both that sells 0.5 BTC to sell and I change into fiat money then I will use this money to buy the goods I want (because this is a gift) and the remaining 0.5 will be invested and if this investment managed to give me an advantage then I will invite the person who gave me 1 BTC for the holiday together;D Grin Grin

I would honestly invest this 1 bitcoin in several altcoins including ethereum, waves, litecoin, monero, monetha, xem. They can bring me more than 1 bitcoim in return if everything goes well.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2018, 01:04:21 AM
There are many reasons. For me, you can never make this fast transfers globally in the current banking system. But bitcoin is almost instant and it's extremely cheap. Sometimes it costs about couple of dollars. This is why people should use it.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: March 13, 2018, 12:17:41 AM
If we compare with the current system is certainly a reasonable thing that bitcoin worthy of future of money, this is because all the features needed for modern transactions available in bitcoin, for example is speed, low cost and of course security.

It's not the future of the money maybe, it can be the future of the humanity most probably. Very improtant improvements are taking place in bitcoin ecosystem as we all know.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 end of the year BİTCOİN price on: February 27, 2018, 06:22:41 PM
at all events at the end of 2018, I strongly believe that prices will explode.
if viewed from the price graph at this time it continues to rise and fall. but, this is a good sign in my opinion, when the price hit the $ 20k mark, it will likely continue to rise until the end of the year and even in my opinion this year will be a glorious bitcoin.

My prediction is that it will reach $43,000 as the all time high value.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: February 09, 2018, 11:59:15 PM
In my option, ETH will increase faster than BTC unless coming lightning to BTC. ETH is really fast and BTC is slow. We will see what will happen
I am a holder of both ethereum and bitcoin, but i think bitcoin is we will still the best  this year 2018, and i am confident that on march bitoin is we will start to rise, but for me ethereum is we will remain as the best altcoin.

Bot will manage to do well this year, but ETH would be more advantageous one here. They both should rise, but the rate of rise would be better in ETH, most probably under fair conditions.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 03:39:06 PM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
It depends on the situation. I don't even spend that much because I know that earning here in bitcoin was never an easy thing. Whenever I am spending it, I always make sure that money will keep on coming so that I won't need to worry anymore. Investments are the ones I usually spend my money too because I know there is a possibility that I will benefit from it though it's risky.

I don't spend them for now, I believe the future of the blockchain and I will hold them for long time to get the highest possible profit.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: January 14, 2018, 08:37:41 PM
Most people look bitcoin as something they can get today and make their future bright after hodling for couple of months and year just like how it change life btc believers who managed to buy on low price before.

Bitcoin created this unique environment, without bitcoin, the whole market wouldn't exist obviously. It paved a great way for the crypto concept.

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: December 17, 2017, 03:14:03 PM
I only used coins.ph. as what i know its the only  trusted btc wallet  here in philippines.

Same here, aside from it is easy to use there's a lot of features that you do in coins.ph. like you can use coins.ph for e loading, sending remittances, and online banking. I can say that coins.ph is reliable wallet so far,

Don't trust online wallets, please. They may get hacked and you may lose your funds there. Use physical wallets maybe a trezor would be amazing for you to store your bitcoins.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: December 17, 2017, 03:02:13 PM
Stcks and Crypto are one good investment that people should not let pass. While both are good investments, investing in Bitcoin is high risk. No need to  a few pages, just look at BTC price today, the difference between the exchange site and Blockchain is just ridiculous. Both Stocks and Crypto are low to medium risk.

I think stock investments are more riskier than crypto trading and it needs lot of knowledge and only experts can succeed in stock market. But in crypto investmnet we just have to buy a good crypto and hold it for some years and it will surely give us profits, but we need to pick potential coin because some cheap coins will fade away with the years.
And as you said both have risks, nothing in this world is risk free so if we want to earn profit then we need to take some risk.

That's crypto I think. Stocks are much more stable than crypto, this is a reality, but the return of stock market is really limited. You can get it on crypto markets even in couple of hours.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: December 17, 2017, 02:51:17 PM
I think that they do not miss the opportunity to get even more profit by using crypto currency. Perhaps someone even became a billionaire thanks to investments in bitcoin.

There's no doubt that billionaires also invest in bitcoin. They will always find ways to triple their wealth and investing in a cryptocurrency is one of their way also of multiplying their wealth aside from investing in a stock market. They will still monitor its price in the coinmarket coz even though they're billionaires, they still don't want to reduce their wealth.

How would they miss bitcoin. They know the potential of bitcoin and they have plenty of money. Investing thousands of million dollars is not a big deal for billionaires. They do this secretly, probably.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there such demand for Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 01:47:04 PM
One dollar invested in Bitcoin in 2010 is now worth $58,000. One thousand dollars would be worth $58 million. Despite more Bitcoins being mined, demand still by far outstrips supply.

Read More: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2017/11/where-is-there-such-demand-for-bitcoin/#login

The supply of bitcoin is really limited and the world now beware of its potential. That's why bitcoin has such demand in the crypto markets. This is a global demand for bitcoin.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price going crazy on: December 17, 2017, 12:58:08 PM
may be the hardfork many people want to buy ETH and hold to get the fork coins!
I think it is time that the altcoins go up,the bts has rise so much those days!

What is hard fork in ethereum? I don't think a hard fork will happen in there. The only one I remember is simply ETC hard fork after that big hacking. It was a right decission at that time.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What market should be the best to trade: BTC - ETH - USDT? on: December 16, 2017, 09:05:23 PM
Hi guys,

Although this is my first post here, I've been in the forum reading a lot of topics, so I decided to participate as there should be a lot of people out there who have the same doubt.

The thing is I'm trading in Bittrex and, as you know, there are three markets there where you can trade, those are BTC, ETH and USDT. Lately I've been using USDT a lot, since its price is pretty close to USD and thus has helped me to freeze the price for my coins, plus there's not high fees like in the BTC market, that's an issue to be taken into account.

I'd like to know what you guys think about. Would my strategy be better if I just trade in btc and make my goal to go up on satoshi even with that high fees?

This is totally up to your purpose. If you like BTC in your assets, take BTC markets and trade on them. If you like USD, you should trade on USDT markets not to get lost.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin cash vs other altcoins on: December 16, 2017, 08:54:56 PM
These five coins are a lot better. If you hold these five coins 1 year, I'm hoping you'll become a millionaire.Bitcoin cash good coins can hold for a long time.

Just clarify everybody - I'm not day trading these coins. I'm putting together a portfolio to hold. I'm simply looking to diversify, and wondering if other coins are a better choice than bitcoin cash.

Thanks for all the replies so far!

I have different ones in my list too, but I don't have bitcoin cash. I don't trust them, it's like a fork scam in the community. The future of it is dark and I can't waste my money on bch.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: December 16, 2017, 08:42:15 PM
I dont think so. They dont have good reasons to be afraid of cryptocurrencies. Banks can create their own currencies i think. This will make  blockchain technology more investable.

They should be fearing from bitcoin and other coins, but they will take precautions against this. They will probably create their own coins in the future to get rid of other coins in their systems.
