No matter what your religion is, it is ultimately YOU who has the capacity to control your life. We can't always blame religion for the current state of our lives. For example, in this day and age where our earth is deteriorating, do you solely pray for a better world, or actually do something about it?
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: May 28, 2018, 06:05:25 AM
Hmmm.... I think I'll cross the bridge when I get there -of course we will all be thinking differently once we're old or sick. But it's nice to know that will options in the future about extending life. Ex. Virtual Reality.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: This Will Get You Excited About Virtual Reality on: May 28, 2018, 06:01:35 AM
Awesome!!! I think VR will totally change (and take over) the gaming scene.

At the state of our earth right now where we're at the verge of completely losing our resources, I think we really do need new residence. I think scientists were right all along. We need to design a better world through technology. VR, perhaps?
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life after death on: May 28, 2018, 04:40:23 AM
I guess for the spiritual, they believe in entering paradise with their God. But for realists and those who believe in the power of technology, death can only be an option. Scientists nowadays are looking into achieving immortality by way of uploading the mind into a computer.I guess there is hope for future generations.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: WONDERING WHAT AFTERLIFE LOOKS LIKE? on: May 28, 2018, 04:35:01 AM
No experience on that matter, thank God. So not ready to die yet. But some scientists now are able to paint a picture of what an immortal life, or at least an extension of life would be like in the future. They're looking into using virtual reality particularly, digitizing the human consciousness and uploading it into a virtual world.
Interesting, huh?
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: From “Unaware” to “Recognizing Innovation” on: May 28, 2018, 04:13:33 AM
This is great! At least this means more and more people and institutions are realizing the benefits of blokchain and virtual currency.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A world without Politicians on: May 28, 2018, 03:34:36 AM
A world without politicians would just create more chaos, don't you think? It's like leaving kids at a candy store and all hell will break loose. Greedy people will just take what they can get. And for sure our environment will have all its resources destroyed/consumed.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will ever there be World Peace? on: May 25, 2018, 06:33:56 AM
Perhaps, in a virtual world where no material matter will cause greed and corruption. Smiley
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Mind Reading Possible? on: May 25, 2018, 06:24:02 AM
Well, there are studies being done about using the brain to be able to digitize memories and ultimately, downloading a human being’s conscious mind through a computer -the objective being not just to be able to "read" the mind, but to produce a digital self in a virtual world.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Bitcoin Can Change The World? on: May 25, 2018, 06:15:54 AM
Bitcoin, as well as other blockchains, are part of a breakthrough technology that can hold, transfer, and accumulate wealth without restrictions from centralized government. The money is back in the hands of the people plus, it will open doors to more useful applications needed in this digital age. Virtual currencies will dominate in the future.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: I hate parents who give small kids smartphones to hands on: May 25, 2018, 05:46:54 AM
I think a certain amount of phone/computer usage for children is fine. Let's face it --we are at a digital age and we cannot escape technology. We have to introduce it in some way to the kids. I am not against the use of technology, I am for the responsible use of technology.
And also, being tech-savvy is cool --it makes more room for success in the future.

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dream recorder technology on: May 25, 2018, 05:00:29 AM
Yes, I think it's possible. I mean with all the talk now about human consciousness being uploaded to a computer, I'm sure dream recorders would be feasible too. Quite exciting how it develops, huh?
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thoughts on this new ecommerce platform on the blockchain? on: May 25, 2018, 04:55:34 AM
Blockchain is a breakthrough technology that will aid in seamless transactions and applications. It will pave the way towards a truly digital world.

It's frustrating how our "efforts" are turning out to be useless. We are doomed.
16  Other / Off-topic / Take Showers, Not Baths on: May 25, 2018, 02:38:13 AM
An article on the Telegraph says that the head of the Environment Agency is warning England of the need for personal water targets. In particular, people should take showers instead of baths. They are urged to use less water and companies are asked to curbed leaks in order to to prevent future shortages and damage to rivers and wildlife. Apparently, many of their sources of water supplies are already overstretched. Couple that with a growing population and climate change, much of England could face supply shortages by the 2050

Wake up, people! We should all be afraid of our resources depleting. It’s not just drought, but food and clean air as well.

What if the time comes when we’re asked to not even take showers anymore?

17  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your vision of a perfect future? on: May 24, 2018, 08:57:19 AM
A perfect future for me would be freedom -to live in a world free from corruption, cancer and violence. If this can only happen in a virtual world, then I'm open to it.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: May 24, 2018, 08:41:40 AM
Would you consider using virtual reality to live forever?
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best country the you travel? on: May 24, 2018, 08:32:23 AM
Anyone interested in traveling to outer space without actually leaving earth? A UK company will soon be launching multiple satellites to broadcast real-time immersive videos of the Earth, made possible by virtual reality goggles. Exciting, huh?
20  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: May 24, 2018, 08:24:11 AM
I believe it really is important for people to be educated about cryptocurrency. This is our future. Better if we understand it now before we o fully digital.
