181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Heard of Bitsend (BTS)? on: May 24, 2019, 09:27:20 AM
Price is still good https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitsend/ $0.071984 USD (-0.96%) I remember they have done airdrops for hero and legendary members of this forum and this is a two-year airdrop, I wonder if is still continuing, this is coin if I remembered was traded in Cryptopia before it folds up.

Its not only trading in Cryptopia even in Big exchanges like Bittrex . Looks like this coin still trading in cheaper price . I remember the airdrop done by this coin . But i could'nt able to participate because of my rank level.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: May 24, 2019, 09:23:32 AM
The coin market ieo has turned the speculative coin into gambling. No matter whether the project is good or not, no one cares about it. The bear market project can't be used for money. Now, let's make a way. You can participate in the appointment, and then give you a few times the increase in the exchange. People may be able to earn some money. The secondary market is a long-term look at the market. It feels that this money is too buggy. Soon the money in the currency circle will be circled. A new project will come up with billions, but because of the turn With a few times the probability, it is difficult to stop the enthusiasm of the participation of the currency people, and may approach the ultimate method of cutting the leeks.
I just said my personal thoughts.
I am feeling like there is no need of new projects either in term of ICO or IEO there is already enough solution in crypto space has to be solved . People investing on IEO for only the reason for getting huge proit without understanding the project then it will be risky for sure.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is the real one? on: May 24, 2019, 09:20:31 AM

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we should do for bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 09:17:58 AM
What we should do for bitcoin to make main currency of whole world
I think we need unity of all crypto lovers to spread awareness about btc to fast mass adoption
What all you think
Bitcoin is already global currency and accepted in majority of world . Mostly famous in remittance or cross border payment . But for make it more famous we have to encourage micro transaction in bitcoin for that segwit offchain transaction has to implement.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin lover on: May 24, 2019, 09:14:56 AM
I need advice on alternative currencies to purchase before btc rallies above 8000 usd.. anything among the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap will so just fine
Before investing do your own research My personal listings are IOST , ETH , NEO , NEM these are smart contract creation platform. KCS is another best coin its giving dividend by holding it in Kucoin Exchange  . Apart from top under 100 some other good potential coins are powerledger , Utrust , SXDT , Dropil , Coss
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: May 24, 2019, 09:12:12 AM
Honestly, who would buy this? Serious question! I've been reading about it and I don't see how Facebook can create a coin that upholds the values crypto portrays (censorship free currency).

https://tipestry.com/topics/5ce41169570b6c1f0750a040/facebook-to-release-its-own-cryptocurrency-on-whatsapp-%E2%80%93-libracoin-%E2%80%93-with-its-base-in-switzerland-and-first-launch-in-india

I am still not sure about all these news i am looking for some real progress in the devolopment of the coin until i am least bother about this there was enough prediction happened in past nothing is implemented.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect solution to scam in the crypto space on: May 24, 2019, 09:10:46 AM
The rate of scam and hacks in the cryptocurrency market keeps growing at an alarming rate. In my opinion there best solution to these crimes in the cryptocurrency market are

1 ICO regulations: if there is ico regulations then investors should only invest in ICOs that are certified and meets the required standards. This will reduce the scam rates as fake ICOs will not be able to raise money for investors anymore

2 Smart contract Auditing: I think in other for coins and exchanges to avoid hacks and attacks they should constantly audit their smart contracts at regular intervals (like every 2 weeks or every month).  Doing this will help them detect the bugs and loop holes in their smart contracts and correct it before it is used by hackers.
I agree with your point for your first solution its already implemented in the name of IEO . These IEO's are mostly verified with exchanges and atleast it will gauarntte listing . Second auditing most of the token do the auditing before listing into exchange yes regular interval of auditing required for sure.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price is much more important than USD price on: May 24, 2019, 09:07:27 AM
When people discuss crypto prices, they always do so in relation to the US dollar, however this should only be correct when discussing Bitcoin - for alts the more important metric is their price in BTC.
Why? Because it indicates their performance relative to Bitcoin, so if Bitcoin rises and alts rise too, the first thing that you have to look at is their price change in BTC - when it's negative, it means that BTC outperforms them, and the opposite if it's positive.
Bitcoin is often called the king of crypto, and rightfully so - it's more stable, more safe, has higher volumes than any other coins, so when you invest in alts, you absolutely want them to outperform BTC, otherwise you are taking unjustifiable risks and get lower profits.
I am not only tradign with bitcoin pair also ethereum . I should say ethereum is also most powerful platform like bitcoin . I always calculate profit or loss based on my bitcoin and ethereum investment never did with the comparison with USD.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: May 24, 2019, 07:38:46 AM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

I  agree we cant make fortune by simply investing on Shitcoins . But there lots of low cap alternative currencies exist for long term you can choose working platform instead of following dumpers and pumpers . There is lots of working products altcoins available you have to choose better one .It required lots of research and dedication.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Has Done me More Good than Harm?what about You? on: May 24, 2019, 07:31:59 AM

191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From when you are involved with bitcoin? Had u wondered why you not meet before? on: May 22, 2019, 09:39:44 AM
I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  Grin. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.
I got to know bitcoin while the price were around 1500$ i was doing some faucets and other things to earn bitcoin .I hardly done some 10$ using this then i encash to real money then got real trust . Started search bitcoin trading , mining , earning all the possibility ways . But i never felt i am too late because people surrounding me always handling with computer still they don't understand bitcoin or other crypto currencies.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you are regretting not encashing read this ' on: May 22, 2019, 09:33:40 AM
Hey everyone I know it's hard to actually just sit and wait for the price to go up and when you are at this phase , there is this very difficult decision to make and that is

* Either keep the Currency or encash *

Right now the price sipked suddenly that was a rare case scenario and something that gave us good signals after a pretty long time (2017 ) , unfortunately after the bull run continued for over a week , price suddenly declined.
It reached way closer to 6k $
But now again we are at 7k $ approx .

The reason of price decline is still unclear but it was hinted that in Germany some major people are against this Currency and actually wanted to ban it.
Since Germany is situated in Europe , many European countries might get influenced and think about adding to their decision.
But nothing was decided and Bitcoins somehow attained a stable state of 7k $

Now if you are feeling sad about not encashing there here are some points for you to feel good about :-

Major companies are hinting a bull run in near future starting from 22 May

The average price of Bitcoins is still higher than the past one therefore it's amazing how it has gained that much weight after all this , therefore a spike is inevitable.

Major exchanges are predicting price as high as 20k $ or even higher , I don't believe in such weird had to achieve assumptions but all we can think of is , even if it does 50% of this , it's going to be fine.

Kudos to everyone who is still holding , trust me when it rises up you guys are going to be proud of the fact that you didn't encashed and stayed put.

This is how a trader should be * Patient * .
Everything find for some extent based on my experience taking profit at regular interval of time is really good practice . I regretted lot in past no to take profit in time now i feel taking profit in correct time also required for trader to have a faith in crypto currency .
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not intended to be a stock. Blockchain has nothing to do with price on: May 22, 2019, 09:25:51 AM
Guys, Bitcoin is fundamentally flawed, we all know this yet we keep focusing on the price. Bitcoin was intended to be a p2p, cutting out the middle man, yet we treat it like a stock. If Bitcoin were to be a reporting company by god knows how, it'd have to file for reports, 10k's,  quarterly, anually, the whole 9 if you're familiar with the financial realm.
Bitcoin is not a fraud, it's the individuals (smart money/wall st) manipulating it for the greed of money.

Whatever we say people using bitcoin for their greed including ME . More over currency it became the stock . I am holding some of the bitcoin form long time even lots of community members and traders out here . No matter what we can say bitcoin still store of value . Hodl is meant to Stock i think.
194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Andrew Yang or John McAfee? on: May 22, 2019, 09:22:39 AM

There will be presidential election in the USA next year and so today we have many personalities both known and even relatively unknown who are already expressing and working with their desire to run for presidency with the assumption that they can successfully kick the sitting President Donald Trump out of office in 2019. The race is on for contenders to get the final presidential nomination of their respective parties.

Right now, we have Andrew Yang who is battling attention and support within the Democratic Party. Andrew Yang is an American entrepreneur, politician, philanthropist, the founder of Venture for America, and a U.S. 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. He worked in startups and early-stage growth companies as a founder or executive from 2000 to 2009. Among many other things, he is proposing the $1,000  a month free cash to all.

Then we have the popular guy named John McAfee who is known for his many outlandish predictions on the price of Bitcoin and promising to do something in front of the camera in case those predictions failed. John David McAfee is a British-American computer programmer and businessman. He founded the software company McAfee Associates in 1987 and ran it until 1994, when he resigned from the company.

Both guys are great supporters of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Both guys provide cryptocurrency the opportunity to land in the mainstream media's coverage. Among the two, which do you think is really serious in running for the presidency in 2020 and who has the better chance of making it through the White House? Or do you think that these are just a bunch of jokers providing us the much-needed comedic relief from time to time?

I dont say these people bunch of jokers they contributed much for crypto space using their fame or public attention . But after lots of Horrible ICO's Supported by John Mccafe I am no more taking him as serious for anything . I am not sure about andrew . ITs all about US people's decision but for the crypto currency growth i respect both atleast tehy contributed something.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Portfolio Strategy for Beginners: 100% Simple, Safe and Effective on: May 22, 2019, 09:14:28 AM
FYI, this is not a financial advice. This is solely my opinion. I hope it can give you a good insights.

This strategy requires a little work. Let's assume you have $1000 as a capital.

You invest 50% of your capital in Bitcoin, in this case it's $500. Why Bitcoin? Because Bitcoin can evolve into a credible alternative to gold as a store of value. Bitcoin is also scarce. In order for something to be valuable, let alone be a good form of money, it needs to be scarce. Bitcoin total supply will only be 21 million in total, nothing more. Bitcoin also the Godfather of all crypto, its market capitalization and dominance is number 1. It's been here for 10 years.

You invest 25% of your capital in EOS. Yes, EOS. I am not shilling EOS, FYI. A lot of people doesnt know what power behind EOS, a lot of people think that it is just an ordinary blockchain like others. But what they dont know is that, EOS is the largest blockchains in dapp ecosystem, check dappradar.com for your reference. For me, i think of it as a usecase. Developers are building dapps under EOS. This is huge, to be honest. What's the use of blockchain if nobody is using it right? It's number 5 in market capitalization, so it is safe as well, more stable and proven.

You invest 25% of your capital in BNB. Yes, Binance Coin. Because it has strong fundamental developments surrounding Binance. Yeah they got hacked lately but Binance Coin remains strong, price as of writing still at $23.  Why BNB? Because of their strong fundamental developments, they launched Binance Chain, they said it will not compete against Ethereum but who knows right? I believe soon they will launch their smart contracts, which will be direct competitor of Ethereum. Binance chain is more faster than Etherum. I believe Binance Chain will be the next Ethereum so i think BNB will go higher. Plus, they are doing a quarterly coin burn which makes BNB scarce moving forward.

Summary:

$1000 investment
$500 BTC
$250 EOS
$250 BNB

Advantage: You only bet on crypto that has solid fundamental usecase and potential.

Disadvantage: The more stable the market, the lower the profits. However, their potential might be higher. Patience is a virtue. Good things happen to people who wait.

If you could share me some Merit, would be much appreciated, i will be more inspire and do research to share here in our community Cheesy

I sold some of the BNB when Binanace hacke by thinking its price will decrease or crash so can pick from bottom but its never happened instead its price increased 50% more . I think even you can divert your investment for some more Coins Like IOST , ADA instead of BNB completely you can invest on KCS.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 22, 2019, 09:07:03 AM
I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?
I am not concern about UI/UX even in the past will be in the future . I am more concern about bitcoin Offchain transaction or segwit implementation so that it will be more user friendly to use it in normal life . For ethereum POS implementation to speed up transction speed and limit maximum supply .
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A notary office in China uses blockhain on: May 22, 2019, 09:03:25 AM
China is moving forward more more! I won't be mistaken if I say it's one of the main leaders of crypto industry. If they implement blockchain technology not only in the sphere of notarial services, but also in real estate or education, where it is important to confirm the authenticity of documents, this will allow them quickly access the data and ensure that they have not been replaced for the purpose of fraud

It's not just China! Even a small state of India has started issuing blockchain based birth certificates since last year. The state name is West Bengal and they are now exploring the opportunity to implement blockchain solutions in land records department. See the news below,

https://www.cryptoground.com/a/first-blockchain-based-birth-certificate-issued-india

Blockchain is slowly making its way into data intensive fields and most surprisingly, they are making impact in government departments as well. If blockchain is implemented in land records department effectively, thousands of court cases will be saved!

Even Singapore government going to use Blockchain technology for Government services . IOST blog i recently found this announcement for blockchain solution implement with singapore government . More and more countries are adopting this technology.

199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: May 22, 2019, 08:48:05 AM
if you live in a country like lets say UK and want to buy US dollar you go on some Forex market, sign up, give your selfi with your passport or something like that, wait weeks for approval, then deposit some money on your Forex account and wait until the bank transfer completes and the broker funds your account and enables you to start buying US dollar.

do you also consider US dollar having a hard time gaining acceptance?
People still doesnt understand the purpose of bitcoin . Its largely used in Cross border payment or Remittance industry . If somebody goes to Money transfer and get to know about the fees and transaction type and other procedure . He might not have said this thing . Bitcoin still having its value because of its huge acceptance in particular . Yes it lags in day to day transaction.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 22, 2019, 08:14:41 AM
In addition to the exchanges listed on the CMC, there are many other exchanges.I have a question WHY do we need so many exchanges? What do You think the new exchange will be able to attract potential users?
As I seen there is lots of exchanges popping up every day . It’s having big advantage and disadvantage . First thing is that most of the coins are getting listed in this exchanges where they are not having option to listed in big exchanges . Cons is these exchanges are not backing with real bitcoin or ethereum its just a digital indicator or number.
