1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 27, 2021, 10:14:45 AM
It is sad to know that someone died in heart attack because that he won the lottery. Though winning the lottery for gamblers is the most exciting
moment, but having a heart attack while winning the lottery is scary. Therefore, this is a lesson for people who have a history of heart attack,
avoid listening or reading the announcement of lottery winners directly. Can be represented to those closest to us who are young and do not have
heart disease. This can prevent bad things from happening.

The good news become the horror news for that one persons he could not possibly restrain himself from being excited which resulted in a heart attack on him. I think if you have health problem you should never tried to gamble any money  because there are two possible reasons that when your illness comes out, it can be when you win big or if you lose.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people swapping their XRP investment for. on: December 29, 2020, 01:37:32 PM
I do pity retail investors here, most of the whales have the private information that CoinBase is going to announce XRP trading suspension and have sold their stash already. If Asian exchanges start delisting XRP tokens then I don't know what is left for Ripple team, they have sold wind to people

If there is also country from Asian that will file a case against XRP like what SEC do This is the only reason it can be delisted there. and that will be the lost to  xrp because most of the supporters and users of XRP are from asian country and they use it as an alternative to remittances. So if something like that happen it will be the end of journey of XRP.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the predictions for Altecoin? on: December 28, 2020, 07:37:22 PM
But I'm more in favor of seeing bitcoin at its top rather than wishing to see the altcoin season because it's more profitable for me if it's bitcoin going further to the next all-time highs.

Yes, I agree with you on this point, I also prefer seeing Bitcoin dominating the market and climbing to new highs instead of seeing the Altecoin season, but in any case I think that the Altecoin  season will come even a little late, especially that as you mentioned, we are starting to see some Altcoin actually moving Towards the top.

It happen already one of the example of the altcoin that starting is ETH they break  his yearly all time high record for this year  not the price he has in 2017 .but still we can now feel the altcoin season unlike for the past 2 years when investors is almost loosing their hope to recover it again . There also traders that the target of ETH for this year or early next year is 1400$ too far but it's possible that we can see it if the trend of altcoin or altcoin season will continue to dominate.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the MAXIMUM time you are willing to wait on crypto-exchange... on: December 28, 2020, 06:06:38 PM
Thats actually depend on your target price the higher your target price the longer you need to wait before you can sell it.

Those 30 days or more is those holders that looking for high earning for what he bought and waiting for the right time even it takes longer. For short traders you can do it daily up to one week if you want a good result in your trading as long you know you buy it cheaper.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump want more money stimulus nice one on: December 28, 2020, 02:58:29 PM
The value of money is not all about printing more money. The value of of fiat currency is all about the total asset declare by a certain nation like reserve golds, natural resources and others that include the national gross domestics products income and more. The value of fiat currency will only decrease after printing a lot of money and that will going to happen if trump wanted it to happen. Still the value of fiat currency depend on their economic value of that certain country.

And we know that they have a problem also economically , so printing more money will not solve anything and it will lose its value unless backed by real world asset like good if they want to print more.

I don't understand the relation between trump and USDT I want to ask if  the USDT coins also controlled by US? and not by exchange and they cant not mint it unless US approved it? Is that coins not backed by real USDT?
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which token do you advise me to invest? on: December 28, 2020, 11:26:23 AM
Hi all,

I want to invest 77,000 USDT of my portfolio in a single project that probably has great potential .

Personally, without having done a lot of research I am leaning towards Zilliqa (Zil) and Vechain (Vet)... What do you think about it?

Otherwise what do you advise me ?

Thank you  Smiley

Focus only in top altcoins or it's better if you invest only in Bitcoin. Altcoin in long term will lost its value and it's proven many times from different project we have from before that now leave the top 100 list for just a year,so no need to explain why you should invest only in top crypto currency .

They are just good today because of Bitcoin increase and other altcoin also following it's trend but in long term no no one can tell what will happen to them. Even XRP is f**kup today what would you expect from other alt which is not so popular?
7  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 27, 2020, 08:34:35 PM
You don't need to explain your self just to make other people believe in you they have their own mind and decision in life , let them what they want to do . No one will understand you If in the first place they don't want to listened . Let them see it to happen so they can decide on thier own ,no need for more explanation you are just wasting your time and energy to the person that you know will not listen to you.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really 'Sell High and Buy Low' in this 2020 BITCOIN Bull Run? on: December 27, 2020, 04:46:45 PM
Is it really possible to 'Sell High and Buy Low' in this bull run?

First I sold some at 19600 hoping it will pull back before crossing 20k and I will buy back at 'LOW'. It never pulled back.

Then I sold some again at $25k milestone, hoping that it will pull back which never did.  I then sold some at $25800 hoping it will pull back before going further. And again it never pulled back.  BITCOIN is just going ATH after ATH.  BTC is setting new ATH every day, if not every hour  Grin  I stopped selling now  Cool

It's not like I am complaining, far from it!  I am enjoying every bit of it.  But how can we really follow the mantra of 'Sell High Buy Low' Huh Tongue

Yes you can but with no so big difference in price for example today when the price is 28k then you bought again in 27300  then you already increase your holdings and earn profit. But if you are looking for big price difference that you can buy and sell then you should wait for correction before buying it.

There is no way you can easily find a good entry when you know that Bitcoin rally continue and you can't find a good entry and hard to predict price of Bitcoin .
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowing about this forum will help more on: December 27, 2020, 02:39:10 PM
I don't know if this is the right place for this post of mine, I believe that many crypto newbies don't know about this forum that's why they use twitter and telegram to find projects they can invest money on and lose money or get scammed in the process, instead of telling them about a particular project let's start telling them about bitcointalk forum because if they start their crypto journey through bitcointalk forum they will fall for less scam and stupid mistakes...

Bitcointalk Forum is the perfect school for everything crypto

Not school but a good place for discussion if you want to invest in a project and learn. you can ask other members opinion  here so they can give you their feedback base on what they experience and different insight for the project. That's best than only searching every project on your own which is hard to know if you are just a newly investors and beginners in crypto space.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 26, 2020, 06:48:15 PM
If USDT collapsed it will bring new opportunities to those that want to buy bitcoin at a cheaper rate and that will make bitcoin recovers, whatever comes bitcoin will recover because of adopters, many will be waiting for some opportunity to buy  Wink Wink
Yes, but is everyone sure that the USDT will collapse? because stable tokens are always valued in accordance with the dollar currency in general, the use of the dollar currency is still very large and the pairing for new tokens and coins is still very much, so are you sure that USDT will collapse?
If they can't release more USDT supply and we have more demand in USDT compare to how many supply we have ,thats the only problem that i see is possible to happen to USDT .which will bring the price up and no one can stop it if there are people want to use USDT to secure their money in fiat value . Not unless they print more USDT that can full the needs of all traders if market need more demand.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp will restrict XRP transactions for US users on: December 26, 2020, 03:31:59 PM

Once SEC are into you, there's no way out. Monero was one of the coin that was taken into consideration by the SEC and it's still not available to trade for US investors. Now it's time for ripple. Though US is not the largest market and exchanges are not the only way to trade crypto. But the US ban would have much more significant effect on Ripple than on Monero as the userbase of both the coins are different. Monero was already used avoiding popular exchange while Ripple is highly depended on centralized exchange.
I mean not all centralized exchange is following us regulations since they are in different states and different regulations to follow. I will wait for other popular exchange announce it so it may have big affect from US investors. I also heard that other investors from preparing their wallet to transfer it there than to sell it cheaper with today's price.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp will restrict XRP transactions for US users on: December 26, 2020, 02:26:49 PM
I heard that news. I wonder what will happen to XRP later because I think some exchanges stop the trade for XRP. But maybe it is just temporary until the problem can be solved so that XRP can be traded as usual. If it's not, it will be hard for XRP to rise and make another good time in the altcoin season. I think people are worried about waiting for the next update that will come.

Temporary and only US base exchange do that . As investors you should not be so much afraid about the FUD given even it's from SEC there already project that been sued before so its not the first time . XRP also planed to migrate in other countries and they have office already in other country so it's easy for them to migrate if ever the case will not be in favor in them . The real problem here is the partnership if they will also abandoned XRP and move to other coins instead.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp requires US customer to withdraw XRP on: December 25, 2020, 07:48:19 PM
I am in the US.  Bitstamp requires US customer to withdraw XRP.  If Coinbase, Bittrex, Kraken in US also delist XRP then what exchange that I can transfer XRP to?  Or what is the personal cryptocurrency wallet or app that I can transfer my XRP to?  Thank you.

You can use multi currency wallet like coinomi if you want to only stored your ripple just make sure that you save the keys . You can still use binance exchange until they announce they will also do the same restrictions for US citizen people then by that time you should move it to your own only multi currency wallet, if you don't have other choice to stored it in exchange only if you are looking to trade your XRP.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties are profitable or not ? on: December 25, 2020, 05:38:39 PM
i have difficult to find new real project
First of all, visit the telegram channel of the bounty campaign. If there are only posts like: oh what a good project, oh what a good team ... and nothing else, pass by. If the telegram channel is seriously discussing this project, plans for the future, entering the stock exchanges, then this bounty campaign is worth taking a closer look at.

No thats not how it works you can participate in many different shit project even they want to list in exchange or even there are contract where that coins will be listed after the sales . It will not guaranteed a good rewards if you will participate in a campaign that only want to be added in exchange since that's all want of every project.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto for government services on: December 25, 2020, 01:35:49 PM
There are country that already have that option you can pay using their local wallet exchange with the help of their partners  but only few list is available by now and birth certificate payment is not belong to that list.
but since it started, next time  it's already possible that you can also paid it online it will make the process  even faster if the government do it online instead of face to face transaction for paying government services.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs become a big market on: December 25, 2020, 01:05:15 AM

May be in next five years but i do not see them doing that big in short term, once defi gets the required momentum and adoption only then i expect nfts to be in the game big time.

What is the relation with defi and NFT ?  They are two different program and NFT has been known for a long time compare to defi which only started to be known this year,NFT has far greater potential than Defi  in terms of adoption many people already have idea in this NFT and already have a lot of supporters one game that I know that been successful as for now is AXIE , a game that can give potential income to it's users buy buying a NFT and play the games. I am looking forwrd for a better games wi to h  good graphics in the future.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Investment Platform on: December 24, 2020, 10:35:48 PM
Is it a good idea to buy some crypto for long time investment plan from exchanges such as binance as keep it there, any alternatives ? Because i have heard bad things about some famous exchanges such coinbase.

You can buy it there but for storing you need to transfer it to your own wallet and save your keys. It's not good idea to use exchange for holding any crypto currency for long time ,since you will never know what will going to happen to that exchange for long term compare to holding it to your own wallet which is much secured it's for your own safety  and you are able to open it any time as longa s you save the keys. Even it takes 5 or 10 years.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to class action sue the SEC. on: December 24, 2020, 03:43:54 PM
A class action could likely be made out against the SEC by XRP holders.

[1] The SEC failed to act in a timely manner with respect to XRP allowing XRP to continue for 5 years with no complaint.

[2] The SEC's failure has contributed to or caused losses it's action now has directly or indirectly caused.

The SEC's filings admit they knew or constructively knew in 2013~2014
It's just started many more altcoin is next to sec watch list  xrp sued is just started and many more altcoin will follow next even ETH is not safe for regulations of US so better prepared to whats going next . Xrp is just the start and many more altcoin will follow chain link is next after xrp so be prepared.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: December 23, 2020, 09:07:49 PM
today, everyone forgot the spark token... the SEC news gets our attention and it's not a good news for xrp holders...

There are already many exchange support that airdrop from the spark  tokens ,no idea how they plan to manage that next year if XRP will lose its value and become a shit coins .just right now the price is back to 0.25 cents per XRP that's the price of it before even we start at Bull market this year and I don't even see any sign of recovery it's looks like it will continue until they give a positive news to xrp.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in 2021 on: December 23, 2020, 06:29:23 PM
$ 1 for me is realistic, because looking at the current development of xrp I think it is very clear and it is the best. because it can be higher for xrp not yet. but hopefully my reference about $ 1 can go up even more for xrp in 2021
I agree with you. Sound about right! That's why so many people stuck with XRP. There are too many bag holders those trust on XRP. At the end, only the strong will survive. I'm waiting for all the weak hands to give in and I will be there to gather.
You guys are not yet watching the latest case of ripple? it has been sued by the SEC and when ripple will be considered as illegal security coin and all of exchange sites will be delisting it.
I hope you guys can try to read it again. It's clear that ripple in the danger area right now. It can go to hell anytime.

Let's wait for how they can solve if they can do it in legal fights against SaeC. That news of sec sued is been in hot topic today it's even announce in many crypto currency news such as coinmarketcap manytimes today . There is also exchange announce for delisting and OSL and bitwise is also removed xrp from their platform.
