61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 12:07:00 PM
Not everyone can have their own satellite, not everyone can have their properties and so the complete decentralized world is not possible. We may control our money by ourselves if we adopt to cryptos but still its not going to be complete decentralized since we have to pay those coins to some merchant if we want to buy something.

No, we cannot have our own satellites for sure. Please check Elon Musk's Starlink project. It is providing internet to the world through many satellites. There may be an ICO offering decentralized internet through satellites. Well, governments may shoot these satellites in the space if they want to block our internet but it is very unlikely. For a decentralized world, we need a decentralized ISP definitely.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 10:14:36 AM
i don't think we can ever make the entire world decentralized, i don't think that can even work. there are a lot of aspects in our lives that work a lot better if they are centralized. not to mention that it is always in human nature to follow a leader (aka the centralized power) and give up their own control. and in many aspects this works fine.
but in other things, for example a payment system, reaching full decentralization is possible. we have already done it with bitcoin and are increasing it every day too.

Aren't we controlling our money through cryptocurrencies? So, this shows that we are fully capable of having our own judgements. I asked that what obstacles we can face while decentralizing the other areas. This is not an easy process but it seems possible. It may not be in the near future or we may need to go another planets but this will be happening for sure I guess.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 08, 2019, 11:12:09 PM
Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.
64  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nova Exchange is closed. on: October 07, 2019, 08:56:13 PM
Well, I think it is not a warning for the people. Consider it a bad-managed company and surely they failed to move on. This is normal in crypto as well as traditional company system. If you don't have skilled people and PR, you are doomed to fail. There will be more like this one. Check cryptopia, they didn't have a solid system and they got hacked and closed.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There isn't always a clear reason why BTC went up or down on: October 05, 2019, 10:58:40 PM
I agree that there may not be clear reason for pump or dump. Whales can come and randomly push up or down. But, in the end, we will figure out a way to find these whale moves and act before them. This is called TA, right? There is no need to bound these to some twitter posts or banning news. These are just random things.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading chat on: October 05, 2019, 08:59:20 PM
Those channels are mostly for affecting people or having benefits over the others through paid things etc. Wallstreet brokers aren't here, they are not on telegram as well. You don't share if something is really working. As far as I can see, these channels say that if bitcoin breaks out 8000, it will become 8001 or if it breaks down, it will become 7999 Smiley They provide the resistance and support levels and say similar things to above.
67  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 05, 2019, 03:36:38 PM
It has no benefit for us I guess. The hint is hidden inside KYC(know your CUSTOMER). We are not someone's customers, this belongs to the traditional banking and governmental systems. If we do a KYC, this will have no difference from the unwanted system. The fundamentals of cryptocurrencies aren't meant for this I think.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: October 05, 2019, 03:00:14 PM
With late 2017, we see that crypto has taken lots of attention of people which result in great price increases. After, people started to buy altcoins as well as ICOs. Some scam ICOs made the environment really terrible for the investors. This is because there is no regulation, there shouldn't be I guess, and people didn't know how to invest in these ICOs. After we learned through our mistakes, we started not to invest these dead ICOs and their price went to zero through exit scams. I think, they cleared the way for better projects, we cleared the way through not investing them.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guide How to Create a Bitcoin Trading Bot on: October 03, 2019, 02:03:43 PM
I, myself, am trying to create trading bots whether they are manual or auto.
Isn't the whole purpose of a bot to trade automatically? Not sure what bot trades manually? Manually means it would require human input, which then makes it kinda obsolete because you can trade manually yourself.

I am morely focused on bitcoin and same as you, I try to follow the huge volumes.
Volume is just one metric to look at when trading, not something that should be the fundamentals at which your bot's strategy is based on, especially with how volumes nowadays are easily faked on most exchanges.

Also, if enough bots use volume as basis, it provides an easy point of failure because whales can simply play with them and usurp every single penny the bot has to trade with. I wonder how much success OP had so far. Roll Eyes

Well, for a fully auto trade bot, there are plenty of things that we should consider and we may miss some points while having a auto-trade bot. I meant manually by the final decision that is given through humans. Of course the indicators that I will use will be auto, I can't, as a human, process such data. So, I am using AI and other algorithms for these and making the final decisions accordingly. It is possible to have a auto-trade bot for sure, the ultimate goal of mine is to have one Smiley
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin was Created by the CIA, FBI, US Military??? on: October 03, 2019, 10:44:02 AM
I don't think that bitcoin is created by these organizations. Lets say they created the bitcoin and the blockchain. We have many alternative coins as well. And the idea of decentralization is another thing that these organizations can't be bringing on. They, as they are governmental organizations, won't be making us think that we are free and we can control things ourselves. So, I think they didn't create bitcoin, if they did, we will learn in the end and focus to other decentralized coins. We learned something and we will use it no matter what happens.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: October 02, 2019, 10:03:23 PM
In times such as war and economic crysis, people tend to stay away from the governments. In my country, if there is an emergency situation, government can take our money and use it for the emergency such as war. So, if there is a war, in order to avoid this, I buy bitcoin. This is what that is happening in Hong Kong and China. Our psychology is similar, we avoid the risk through decentralized systems such as bitcoin. In any case such as war or crisis, we have a new way to be free fortunately.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If they can print unlimited fiat, can they just not buy up all the bitcoin? on: October 02, 2019, 09:31:59 PM
When they print money and buy bitcoins, this doesn't mean that they will buy at low rate. They will drive the price up and the cost will be very high. In contrary, unlimited printed money will have its own consequences as we are having currently. Let's say that if they buy lots of bitcoins, what will they do with it? You buy a thing to sell higher but if you have the most and the price is too high, you may not find yourself a buyer which results with the instant dump surely. If we realize that all the bitcoins belong to big companies, we can create another coin alternative to bitcoin and let the bitcoins to them. They can do whatever they want with them Smiley
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: October 02, 2019, 08:49:54 PM
These are some of my rules that I learned and apply:
-Don't invest more than you can't afford to lose
-In order to make trading, you need to have more than 3-4 income sources
-I don't trade coins which are already too high in the short-time window
-Don't be emotional and act rational
-Profit is good at in your pocket, so, lock profits whenever you can
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: October 01, 2019, 01:52:27 PM
Tron is doing a really effective marketing since the ceo and the CZ are close to each other. Binance is backing up Tron. And we see that WIN and BTT are also the belongings of Tron and they seem to put something solid to the environment which is rare. We see many ideas of coins but Tron with BTT and WIN are building things.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 01, 2019, 01:27:41 PM
I think we should consider them as separete two markets. We don't compare the traditional stock market vs bitcoin marketcap. So, no need to compare Libra's marketcap(dominance) and bitcoin's dominance. They are all different.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: October 01, 2019, 01:01:17 PM
You need to do different things than the others. Trading is about this I guess. To become a succesfull trader, as a beginner, start with psychology of the market and follow the trend.
Don't fall the so called trading bots. You don't sell a bot if it is good.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Internet Disconnections and Slowing While Mining on: October 01, 2019, 10:54:31 AM
I am having internet connection issues while mining. I am using Claymore and I have a RX580. It is not only disconnection but also  can't do anything else while the miner program is running and mining. I tried some solutions that I have found around and non of them seems to be working for me.

Any ideas about how to overcome this issue? Is it about my router or the internet connection speed? I tried another source for the internet and got the same problem by the way.

Another thing is, I can use the wi-fi through other devices but not the computer that does the mining.

Mining eth is memory intensive which can cause your GPU to use most of the memory resources on your GPU which could cause web pages to load slowly because of the resources used by the GPU for mining. Some additional details will be helpful as well such as are you using a 4gb or 8gb card, what operating system are you using, what type of processor is on this system and finally how much system memory do you have? Generally its better not to use the same system you mine with as a desktop.

Well, I am just a beginner miner. I am using my main computer just to try different pools and configurations. I don't mine 7/24, I am just trying to solve the possible problems if I will have a rig. I can't spend a lot without knowing most of the possible problems.

I have 8gb GPU, 32gb ram, 550gb ssd and i9 processor. These are much for mining but as I said, this is just trail for a rig.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? At the exchange? Platform? Bots? on: September 30, 2019, 08:11:26 PM
I am writing bots and using them for auto trade and I trade manually on exchanges just to improve my bots' algorithms. This is all about it, if you stop moving while others are moving, you will be going back. Manually trades on exchanges give me inspriations and understand my human motives so that I can apply the contrary of them for my bots Smiley

doing experiments like that would be very useful because when you do both in different ways it will produce a result that might be more profitable when you do it well, after all, if we are able to do many ways in trading then it will make knowledge and experience we are increasing rapidly. but for me personally, i prefer to do it manually because I just don't want to force myself in trouble because the most important thing is that when we do it comfortably we will be better at controlling ourselves in trading

Manual trading could be seem as it is for more control. But, remember, there are many indicators and fundamental news that we should check everytime. This doesn't seem possible with manual trading. For example, you can't make trade if you are sleeping, but, what if there is a good opportunity when you are sleeping? You could arrange your bot according to the coming data and get that opportunity. These fundamental and technical news are rare. Another example, you may not want to miss a below 15 RSI while you are sleeping  Smiley
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Internet Disconnections and Slowing While Mining on: September 30, 2019, 07:36:01 PM
don't use wifi as a RIG internet source, but use a LAN cable
this is closely related to heat radiation so that it affects the WIFI signal.

The heat radiation that you mentioned has taken my attention. I checked the antennas of my wi-fi card and found that they are really close to the fans of the graphic card. I moved them a bit upper so that they don't get affected by the heat of the fans. For now, it seems that this solution is working. Thank you for your help.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: September 30, 2019, 06:15:46 PM
When I decide to join a bounty campaing, I usually check the distribution amount and the ratio first. So, if the rules are tough and the return is very low, I don't join. In economics, we have opportunity cost. I could do something else to make more money than I will get from the bounty if the bounty reward is very low. So, basically, I just calculate my opportunity cost.
