BobSURPLUS committed a huge crime that could be sentence-able to 25 years or life in prison.

If he created his own stock, and then keep all the money from the investors of the stock...that's a crime....

He did this with Bitbay. ARRESTED BOB SURPLUS!! FLOOD YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES WITH REPORTS OF HIS CRIME! His name is posted everywhere, his address, house, phone number its all there.

ENJOY THE BTC IN JAIL.

I hate scammers more than anything else, but really this market is made up of idiots and naive aspies. Guys like Bob would never thrive if half of the mental midgets around here actually read a thread from beginning to end and didn't fall for the same tricks over and over again.

I don't like the idea of government coming after crypto scammers because usually the legit projects that may sit in a grey area get raided too.

doesn't mean nothing should be done, I mean it isn't good for business (or altcoin) if 3/4 of what is going on are just scam...

I think the market is regulating itself. Notice how the number of scam coins being pumped out every week are declining, exchanges like bittrex that thrived on and pushed shitcoins are dying, yeah it sucks to see the volume drop but I think we may see the herd that toughs it out finally putting their money into GOOD coins and projects and eventually the market will recover and find itself in a much better place.

I do agree with going after scammers like Moolah who blatantly steal people's funds but I don't like the idea of imprisoning someone because your investment went sour, because you can expand the definition of scams quite easily. For example, is Carsen Klock a scammer because he makes a coin, dumps it and runs off? Most people including me would say yes, but technically does he have a legal obligation to support further development of his creation? No.

if you sell investments, whether bananas or crypto, it is subject to local laws.  just because its over the internet makes it no different.  now if he sold you worthless bananas, then no problem.  but if he sold you an investment in worthless bananas, then jail he goes.

Bobsurplus is atleast open Pumper & entertainer. In Crypto you have to do your own research.

Well, this tells us that you don't even know who Bobsurplus was and what he did. It was more then a Pump and Dump game.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896480.0

It was more like a gang which stole money from users this has nothing to do with P&D. They partnershiped with exchanges so they can fool people with IPO coins which they wasn't. They just used the term IPO but they were given a free "premine" over 50% of the coin to dump on people.

You yourself made a bad research and i think you would have fallen for his scams like many did.

As a human being you are a disgrace.

So next time listen those who pointed out that Bitbay was a scam like I did point it out from day one of the IPO in this thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857457.0

Any individuals with an IQ of 85 (which is just about the functional idiot mark) should have seen that Bitbay was a scam, but if they didn't then the unmoderated thread explained clearly what was happening.

As for Bob, he never made secret of his own pump & dump operation and corrupted trading activities, therefore when he announced on Twitter that he is investing in Bitbay as a private investor then any sane persons should knew that he was behind the whole operation ... so that was the second chance to get out in case if someone was so idiot and ignored our warnings in the first place. Anyway, the biggest crook of the Bitbay scam is David Zimbeck who had assisted Bob in the rigged IPO and hid the truth from investors for long weeks during the IPO.

Let's hear this side of the argument? from what i know David came out with only what he was promised for his work and is still working on the project. Are you claiming any different?

I agree though the BTC where ever it went should be returned to the investors else legal procedures should be taken. I think BTER are lucky to still be around after this. To be fair BOB although a scammer is not the one the investors put faith in. BTER should be number 1 culprit here. But both need to make things right. David SEEMS okay in this unless anyone can explain why exactly he is to blame other than having his name used to gain further trust? he seems to have only got what he was promised and is working on delivering what he was paid for.

How an exchange can be allowed to allow fake ICO like this and still exist is crazy.

+1

Exchanges need to be regulated imho. It seems like new exchanges are coming every week and they'll list any coin as long as you throw BTC on their face. sad really.

just noticed it's 8 months old thread and got bumped to first page? lol wtf
