Clevermining shut down anyone know why ? . they appeared to be doing well ...

 but isn't Clevermining a Russian based pool ? . if so that explains a lot with all the BS going on here in the US atm. one thing can affect other things in a strange way when money comes to play ...

I haven't check yet is LTCRabbit.com, still up ? .. checking now ...

  LTCRabbit was my first LTC pool i ever used and learned form ... with GPUs sigh ....

I hope slushpool stays around , that was the first BTC pool , i used with GPUS  and first ever BTC pool ....

 i know they added ZEC mining, i have two GPU rigs pointed at slushpool's ZEC pool..

I just wanted to take this opportunity to send a nice "Hello" to our old troll friend Slipknot79.  Way back on page 127 of this thread, three years ago, he was calling us all idiots for mining.  It was all going to be worthless!

Well, fast forward to today and those worthless coins I mined for high electric bills aren't so worthless anymore, huh Mr. Knot.  

Mining doesnt make sense anymore, it will become worthless soon. You sound like a naive student before he starts to study. "Oh i will earn lot of money" "Oh i will drive big cars with lots of horsepower" "Oh i will get some well shaped girls with big boobs" "O i will retire at the end of 2015 after selling my coins"... bullshit. Moving from 100$ to 1000$ is one thing, moving from 1000$ to 10000$ the other. Bitcoin has to grow up to 6000-7000$ to make mining profitable now, and these are very low profits. Use predication calculators. Altcoins will share the same fate.

You are correct.  I didn't retire in 2015 after selling my coins.  2018 will be a different story however.
