[MERIT] Independence Day Merit Giveaway

This morning I woke up and saw that Google had done this, not knowing what it meant exactly:



Then when I went to the BDO to withdrawal some money, it was closed, and only then I learned that today is Independence Day! I should probably know that by now after having lived here for over a year, so shame on me. But to make up for it I am doing a 10-15 merit giveaway for Philippines Local section posts.

Just link your post that you feel deserves to be merited in this thread and I will give it a look over. If it is at least somewhat meritable I will send it a merit. Posts can be in English or Tagalog but must have been written before today. Have a gandang araw.
