How rare is the Elon Musk TESLA cold foil card? My dad and I opened a box and in one pack it had 2 of them! We were amazed to find them on eBay with sold listings for $200, $150, $125, $115!

Debating if its worth grading? lol

Earlier threads questioned how well the cards were sorted.  Maybe that's still an issue.   If you pulled the cards carefully,  then consider grading.  But if card has factory damage,  it won't matter.

I think Elon may be first to put humans on Mars.  His cards  should moon then - get it!

Our rapidly changing world requires a financial ecosystem that can keep up. Through our innovative technology and philosophy, we’re transforming the future of finance, for the better.

Elon Musk is one of the most famous and important humans to ever live. His cards from the Currency Series 1 go beyond this niche card collecting realm.
Aside from the #1 Bitcoin card, I believe the Elon Musk #28, #28A will be the most valuable cards in Series 1. As far as his Cold Foil in Series 2, still collectible, but not as valuable as his Series 1 cards.

The card sells for $30-70 depending on the day. Your best bet is to hold till series 2 starts to dry up. Also dont forget to join the Reddit group. Far more active on there.

I've been out of the game for quite a while and see that these cards are selling for some crazy high prices on eBay. Anyone have some updated information on this series?

Yes, series 2 sold out. Series three out in late june. Cards are selling crazy good. Every onyx was just snatched off ebay for 5k plus. If you have series 1, hold it. Its going to be worth a lot. Series 3 looks to be bitcoin heavy

Hi Cryptogreatdane,
thank you for the information about the Cardsmith Currency Series 3.
Do you think 15 sealed Series 1 & 2 boxes in your closet is a good investment?
Or would you open it?

Is there actually an overview of whether all redemptions cards have already been found?

Hi, series 1 boxes unopened are selling for 80-100 series 2 ive seen $50 on ebay but you can still find series 2 pretty easy. Its my underststanding that there are 2 full bitcoins still out for series 1 and 2 full bitcoins out for series 2. Personally i would just sit and wait on your unopened boxes. They will just go up in price.

Thank you Cryptogreatdane for your opinion.
Now the question is how many redemption cards there were in total.
And whether Cardsmith says "redeem a redemption card" is over.
Or is there a lifetime guarantee?

One redemption card per case. That means there are roughly 2500 redemption cards. Cardsmiths said before that there were no plans to stop the redemption process but there would be plenty of warning before they did.

Thanks Cryptogreatdane. I skipped Series 2 after seeing how the cards looked early in the release. I know there were a lot of Series 1 collectors who shared a similar sentiment in regards to Series 2, so I'm glad they were able to sell out and gain new collectors.
I'll keep an eye out for Series 3, but don't know if I'll be getting back into it.
I'm heavy into Series 1, so it's good to see the Currency series continue to grow.
