The truth is that even if gambling can help to pay bills which is not always are not reliable cause of the uncertainty in it . One can not fully rely on it so I won’t consider it as something that will always help to cover expenses cause it can also lead to expenses too . Student should avoid gambling so that they can work on their grade properly while being well focused .

Gambling can only help to pay bills; that's if the student is lucky enough to secure some winnings. If not, they will only end up using the money they would use to sort out minor things in school to chase a win, which the chances of that winning happening are very slim, and as a student, unless you have all your expenses covered and you are only doing it to pass some time, you should not be gambling.

Gambling can never be considered as a reliable source of income, as a substitute for regular income or as a reliable means of meeting important expenses of life, such as tuition fees, hostel or food. First of all, all these fees, you will definitely have to pay them, but can you ever win money from gambling for sure? The need for money in student life is many and at this time, greed and passion are very high among them, so they can easily get deeply involved in gambling. That's very correct because we can't make gambling a source of income and if we might do so, we might end up been frustrated because the chances of winning is very small, while the system has designed gambling in a way by which we often lose rather than win, and this is a system to keep their platform or projects going, we can not cheat the system, this is a way it was designed from the onset. Adults, however, really don't want minors or students to learn how to gamble because it could distract them from their studies, and it's not a good thing. The result could be even more harmful and could cause trouble for the children with their parents.

But it's not bad to educate children or students about gambling as long as they learn to listen and understand what is right and wrong. In my opinion, it's also good for them to learn the risks

That’s just the truth , Aslong it can lead to mental stress it will surely affect one studies as a student cause gambling can be draining sometimes.

Even trading because to some certain extent trading can be seen to as gambling to those that don’t have the right skill and it can still affect one education if not managed well .

A student that really knows what he's doing can never be affected by gambling, though I'm not disputing on the fact that gambling is not good for students. As a matter of fact gambling has helped most students in paying most of thier bills I'm saying this based on experience, though I know this may not work for everybody. moreover the guy in question did not even believe that gambling could help him achieve most of school stuffs and that is because he didn't put much hope in gambling he was just doing it for fun and also hoping for luck, but some day he got favoured. Gambling can be helpful to so many persons not just student, I believe the use of student is not proper, as you have said, there are thousands of student out there that are not involve in gambling and we can't say that it is quite helpful to them. It's not just children, it's normal thing you see in human but people that do adhere to instructions will not go near there. They will listen to instructions given to them and they will not dare go against it. Only the stubborn ones that want to defile all odds will want to try it out. While growing up, I have those kind of friends around me that will want us to test things we are been warn about, they will want to defy all odd to do it and will be the first to run away when the consequences comes.

I don't care what is happening on the internet, you see self privacy my kids will have it but their privacy on the internet is something I'm going to be held accountable for, I'm not those kind of parents that look at things and say "oh they are kids, let them be", no I will not do that. What is the benchmark that gambling can help students because for me the teenage age for students is still quite difficult in terms of self-control and they with all their curiosity actually make the situation uncontrollable. Although not all are like that but the average is the same.

So even though it may not be a problem to do gambling but it will be very vulnerable especially when talking about addiction problems.

I Stumbled on a news that "Betting Companies in Uganda Luring Students to lost their Futures" with fake bonuses and promise of big wins. According to the explanation, the time you use in the casino affect your future and life which would have been used for studies. They use an idiomatic expression to portray the point by saying that " robbers came to steal money which your properties", but casinos came to steal your time, which will affect everything in your life in the future. So their brighten futures only ended up in gambling.  And they further said the 30% of the students are well engaged in online gambling instead of focusing their students. And for "Sports Betting" and the money that is meant for tuition fees were used in this act.
And that prompt the regulators to come up and say that gambling companies are exploiting the students with unrealistic wins. And research shows that 97% of the students used mobile phones to gamble online during school hours as a disguised as entertainment.

Anyone gambling is solely liable for it but for the fact that a betting company now lures students to gamble is not healthy and such betting company deserves to be banned or punished for such, if a student who is above 18 years willingly engages in betting that's a different case, but luring students and promising them of massive payouts when it's not so is like scamming the students.

Many students have been frustrated and dropped out from school because they used their tuition fees to bet on casinos and sports betting, they practically use the time they would've been studying to forecast games, some students do skip lectures just because they want to bet and if they don't have access to phones at the moment they want to bet, they go to gambling centers just to stake their bets. Students who are financially unstable shouldn't be lure into gambling, so the government of Uganda should sanction that company that lured students into betting.
