Anything can affect a child's educational performance, we should not see gambling nas the only thing that does so, too much playing can contribute to poor performance, lack of balance diet and malnutrition in a child can cause a lot of psychological and emotional imbalance causing poor performance in academic, while gambling should be seen as a way of introducing series of games to children to play without money being involved, in other to help exercise their brain for more increased active participations, thereby boosting their brain and academic performance.

Anyway I do not take my time to read the whole content but this what I have to say about this.
As a university student, if you can't control yourself while you gamble it means that you are not a responsible gambler anyway (even though you are a student or not) and as a non responsible gambler if you do not realize your errors on gamble you will never become successful because all your time and resources has been invested into gamble.
However casino/sport bet are there to market their business and gamblers are there to have fun (though  it depends on the gambler) so if one can not know when to stop and when to keep on playing it necessary means that the students (gambler) will never learn the easy way.

There are things to be observed first before giving out conclusions though the news might explain everything but if you were from that country you would also understand that is not that very easy for gambling site to go into school environs to have such discussions or teaching. The reason why I am saying this is that in my country they can't allow gambling sites or casinos to be operated Inside school environment, neither would they be allowed to come lure people into gambling. Then for students using their tuition fee to gamble is a usual thing over here because I have also seen a story of someone who suffered for gambling addiction and uses his house rent and tuition fee to gamble with the hope of making double of it but ended up losing the whole thing.

With having that easy access or simply having that accessibility that we do have in today or simply with the technology then it is really that easy as pie to deal up with gambling online, on which specially now that we can be able to directly play without having that KYC specially on gambling in crypto on which as long you do have that crypto then you can freely play on when you do want. It is really just that sad that students had become that victims of this but actually this is really that a personal decision or self will because on the time that you do see someone gambles neither physical or online then it will be that up to you whether you should be playing too or would be skipping out. The bad thing on here is that if theres that rampant advertisement on the vicinity then it will really be that be highly influencial and if the moment that the government do sees out the rate of addiction on which running up on the country then it will really be just that right that they should really be that watchful on the condition and made out immediate solutions on which this will really be able to stop this addiction. The only issue on here is the government is really that tolerating such businesses and ads, but actually there are some things on which it cant be stopped by the government because if they would really be that banning up those businesses on which as long that internet do exist then there's always the way that you can be able to play if you wanted to.

I agreed with you on this opinion..
Usually they should have a limits to the extent they can go in doing their promotions or adverts, though I am not against any physical gambling site or casino but they should know their limits. Then another thing to look into is about their governments, what are the appropriate measures they have taken so far about that situation, because if their government doesn't reacts negatively it's assumed they are also in support of what those gambling sites are doing over there, hence they should be penalized for that singler act of them.

The signs that young students are being lured into the trap of betting companies are a kind of defeat for the internet marketing companies in that country. They are making huge profits by cheating the common people of that country.
They should be held accountable for not being able to take legal action against those bad companies. Not only Uganda’s bad companies in the present era, all the bad companies are planning to greed big wins to make their own interests, especially students’ future. And with that trap, thousands of students are going to destroy. As you mentioned, you’ve eaten a stumbling. The time you spend on sugar your explanation affects your future and life that would disrupt your reading. Hey, addicted to gambling, they lost attention to their education, which led to their academic performance and career destruction. Sports bets or online gambling has become a major social problem in the present time, which is not only entertainment, but also causing economic and mental weakness. The involvement of students in this problem is not only affecting their future, but also the overall development of society. So we have to avoid such bad companies to survive from such betting companies

No one should be quick to blame gambling companies for the lapses of their customers who aren't disciplined enough to know the right time to gamble and when not to gamble.

Students shouldn't have anything to do with gambling and the main reason is because they are not yet financially independent, what they spend in schools are what their parents and loved ones gives to tham. Besides gambling can be addictive and young people who are not mentally matured shouldn't engage in it, it can make them to derail from their studies, instead of reading and focusing on their education, they will be busy gambling. Students who are over 18 years and are working to support their education can be excused if they gamble because they are earning their own money but it shouldn't be encouraged, they can become addicted if they lack self control over gambling. If any gambling site is found to be misleading students, they should be investigated and be prosecuted according to the law of the country.

If it could be proven that they are targeting students and that this has the consequences of students dropping out of school and running out of money, then it would be severely punished in a country that has an organized system that takes care of such things. I don't know if there is anyone in Uganda who can act on such things, but I can only say that similar things happen in the EU, because casino advertisements are literally everywhere, there are more and more gambling addicts, and high school students spend their food money on sports betting every day.

Just the other day, I heard that a new law is being prepared in my country, and one of the news will be that casinos/bookmakers will not be able to advertise between 06:00 and 23:00, a complete ban on advertising in print media, billboards, and the visibility of the branches will have to be reduced.

I have to admit that they were hit quite hard, but when addicts become such a problem that they threaten society, only drastic measures help.

Though I don't know about the part of luring, but most times students just want to do something many things out of their limit. Gambling is supposed to be for +18 but nowadays, you can find young teenagers trying to pass Thier way into a betting shop just to gamble. They are not ready for such effect that gambling can draw on them. They won't be able to handle addiction unlike the adults that still are not able to conquer it completely. If there's any such company luring students to gamble, I think it would be best that they are placed a fine as it's not supposed happen.

This is clearly a manipulative sentence and the gambling company must be banned and prohibited from operating, see how big gambling sites such as stake.com, roobet, duelbits and others never give sentences inviting students to bet because they prioritize fair and responsible gambling.

To be honest, it's very concerning to see this happen, even the target market of this betting company is college students who are still relatively unstable, they still can't think maturely, most of them still get money from their parents, they don't understand how hard it is to earn their own money, so they spend it without thinking.

This can have a bad impact not only on themselves, even families can be affected, 30% of these students will think about how to get money to be able to play and continue to play in gambling, initially maybe they will lie to parents to get money, after that they have the potential to commit crimes just to get money, of course this is detrimental to society.
