No.  This is a storage structure - it's not going to do anything much for computation; computations currently being done on ASICs already 'store' their bits in much faster solutions.

( aside: most of those don't really require high throughput on the storage side, they tend to want a lot of space... given that 3D xpoint is being marketed as being between SSD and *RAM, more feasible to go with an SSD.. or even an HDD )

Don't forget that Litecoin and it's derivatives use SCRYPT which is very ram intensive. Xpoint could make a very significant power saving over the embedded dram used in Litecoin asics, especially if the 3D structures could be integrated with logic and so far there seems to be no indication that they cant.
