I am yet to ever click a signature on this forum lol.

I have to imagine they do work for the sites though as they go on long enough.

Maybe a site owner can chime in and let us know?

On previous campaigns i was part of, i used my own reflink, or used various url shorteners with tracking, so i can canfirm that people indeed do click on the signature links.
It really varies on the campaign, and the section you are posting into, but it does work. Otherwise, why do you think people are advertising that way..
bitcointalk is THE best place to advertize bitcoin related services, because targeted audience here is 99%.

Yeah, that's true. It's not so much about getting the clicks; it's more about getting the impressions on the bitcoin audience. Most people think that signature campaigns are all about the clicks, but it's not.

Url shorteners are a big turn off for me. I probably wouldn't click if I saw something like that show up.

I click on 'em. Those that I find interesting and new to my eyes. Also I'm a bit lazy typing and all so I do the work of those signature that redirects me to the site. Cheesy

I don't click those with referrals tho. I removed them. Grin

Yes, I do. When I want to visit some site, I just click on someone signature because it made me easier to get there.
If there are some referral link, as long as the site is legit, I'm no doubt to sign up under it

I do too. i think reff link on the signature here is not effective, just for some people who willing to be under reff and lazy people.

Personally, I do click on some links that interest me, but I wanted to know if anyone else in the community thinks that these campaigns are worth it for the company(s) paying for these.

Thoughts?

People might not click on the actual link but it does give exposure to the company.  The people paying for sigs are in the business of getting traffic in the best ways known, its pretty much tried and tested model now.

If it contains interesting things for me I don't hesitate to click the link. That's why signature campaigns pay for people here. Signatures are great for advertising, even if you don't click links you know there's a site about that.
I don't buy Coca Cola but I see its advertisements everywhere, it's about company's marketing strategy.
