Hashgraph is really good honestly! Hashgraph is proven to be fully asynchronous Byzantine. This means it makes no assumptions about how fast messages are passed over the internet and this makes it resilient against DDoS attacks, botnets, and firewalls.

The Hashgraph algorithm works without needing to use the Proof of Work or Leader systems, and can also deliver low-costs and high performance levels without a single point of failure. It is better than Blockchain in many ways. I guess extinction of blockchain is near. But may be blockchain would evolve too.

Hashgraph is an extremely interesting project, one of several claiming to be the new Blockchain standard but there are already many different options out there and Privacy protocols seem to be high on the agenda also. I think Blockchain through development will naturally evolve and there will be a place for both systems for some time to come.

Both Blockchain and Hashgraph are interesting. But Blockchain has dynamic features and more will be added in future. So there is no doubt that Blockchain will take over other technologies.

Hashgraph is interesting because it takes the "size debate" out of the way since it is a graph by it's structure. So far both blockchain and hashraph are good, but I do believe hashgraphs are the future. Some people are for blockchain more since it has proven to work all these years with many cryptocurrencies out there, where as hashraph is still relatively new, but exiting tech.

Before diving into a comparison of Hashgraph and blockchain, it’s important to note that Hashgraph is not an open-source project. With that being said, let's get into. Hashgraph does indeed offer some improvements over blockchain technology. However, when it comes to computers, you don’t get big improvements. Hashgraph is also more susceptible to Sybil attacks than blockchain-based cryptocurrencies, which may not be the answer for fast, secure, and decentralized micropayments.

We'll see how the project develops. It may end up like many other nicely advertised coins that were to be BTC 2.0 and are now worth a fraction of the big daddy.
It's possible that Hashgraph will be Blockchain 2.0. Their fundamentals are good, they had a chance to observe blockchain grow and will try to avoid the problems it had, build an even more decentralized and faster chain. The question is: can they do it and can they persuade people to use it? They aren't the only project in development and they are predicted to have problems with scalability, just like blockchain does.

To be fair, Hashgraph looks very interesting indeed. But still I will give blockchain the upper hand. Yeah, hashgraph is obviously a potential competitor of blockchain. A lot of development is happening around blockchain. And there is no bad Samaritan here.

First of all, hashgraph has a catchy name, and this is one thing that all up-to-date blockchain contenders were totally missing. Next, it offers some technological leverage over blockchain and I think it makes sense to assume it has at least some percentage (even if small) to become Bitcoin 2.0. It would be best to board the train before it leaves the station instead of complaining later.

Most of people don't know the meaning of "Blockchain" word. I Think that humanity will use Blockchain for a long period of time. Of course advanced campaigns will use better modifications and alternatives but most of all people will use old and time-tested blockchains.

Maybe hashgraph will be next blockchain successful alternative just like ethereum is for bitcoin!
