I am watching this with interest..... i mean the idea is different and interesting.

However who would have thought so many people would effectively wish to give their money to a bunch of strangers, in a country that is so anti crypto in the first place.

I really am watching from the sidelines with interest.

Seriously who would buy this coin at this point?  it if goes up further that would be mad.... but people going in now have big balls that is for sure.

Personally i WANT IT to explode, i mean to see 250M of crypto investment leak back into fiat is terrible.

However full props to anyone that goes in now and makes a profit. Never on here before have i seen such a risk as this. The flags are there for it not having a happy end....other than for those that will be given free money..... do investors know it will be coming from their pockets>

The entire premise relies on there being huge bag holders to pay for this... if everyone dumps before the drop it will look terrible on crypto... like we were teasing .... but who will hold the bag?

I mean do most people investing at this point even understand the concept?

But wow, ... actually it is weird i was told this would happen in PM buy a noob with 12 posts. Nice guy actually but when i went and took a careful look at the entire thing. I just decided people would not be up for 1 trusting the dev, 2 for giving a bunch of strangers their money.

How wrong could i have been.... grrr

But anyway fun to watch and you can't win them all ,..... even if had of bought in low i would have probably been out well before this point anyway...

But really for a copy and paste coin this shows it is the concept that counts not the tech or design of the coin.

This is doing a lot of publicity so that is a good thing.... however it if goes boom before the drop and they all jsut get few cents each or nothing.....it will look pretty bad.... those icelanders have heard of this by now and are probably rubbing their cold hands and spending this money in their heads ..... i hope they get something from it after all.

Good luck to everyone i like the idea..... how did i miss this from the start though....grrrr Smiley

The noob is here :-)

Yes, damn it man you should have forced me to make 20x my investment back.... oh well those guys got a good deal for 0.5 Smiley

that was pretty good... however if you did it again from here... and made another 20 on the next coin....you are the bravest man on here. I can not see this hitting 90 bucks...if it does that is crazy.....if you then did it again and it hit 110......you are not capable of experiencing fear.

I just checked, I actually have 1.28959248 and currently have made $27.

I don't view the money I'm moving around as money, because it's money I'm willing to lose. I understand there's risk in every move I make in this game so I only play with what I can afford to have disappear. For that reason, it's not money.

That being said, Aurora was just something to play with. I wasn't expecting that kind of gain on $75

Funny.  Just as I was walking to my computer, I heard some jangling noises in my pants.

Currently at $96.91, is that crazy enough for you?

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say this will gradually continue until close to the airdrop date, or until AUR eclipses $250 per coin.

Let people play till they're hooked, and I mean really addicted; until all they see is dollar signs. And that's when the dump will happen and people are going to be taken for every single cent they've been pumping.

All of the airdrop addresses are publicly visible.  If even a single coin moves from them ahead of the airdrop, everyone will know.

Prices do seem very high.  Hard to imagine every Icelander being able to claim ~32 x $88 ($2,816).

Interesting experiment.  Exciting times.

Actually, I'm from Iceland and it seems that probably well under 1% of Icelanders know of this. My guess
is that not that many people will either believe this and won't bother with it or they might simply not
know off it. What I'm hoping for is that few people will go get their money and the people who do don't
splurt it out all at once. If my hopes were to be fulfilled then I'd be sitting on a pretty hefty sum of money.
I sincerely hope that this is the case since I've already burned my finger on this one when I laughed it
off as a scam a month ago Grin I finally got in on it on friday..... managed to get 0,13Aur Undecided

It's too bad AUR wasn't x11 algo or scrypt adaptive N

I told him it should have been cPow -   (complex) PoW - multi hash + random on page 4 - pitty now that the Icelanders get something dated - (really does not matter as it has no EQ reward)

its effectively flawed , but could be fixed with a hard fork -  but then hey , so could Bitcoin ?

If I were the dev and I was sitting on a good $700 million worth of coin, no matter how pure my original intentions were, there is just no way I wouldn't be quietly selling off the premine. Of course people will notice eventually, and the price would drop, but maybe I'd make 10 or 20 million in the process and be setup for life. Maybe the dev is an honourable guy, but there are few who would turn down that kind of cash.

Add to that the fact that the guy is anonymous. Where's the downside for him? Would there be any actually negative repercussions, apart from angry people in internet forums? I mean, if the guy actually follows through with the plan to distribute the coins, he's a huge sucker.
He is not anonymous !  They intervieded him on NPR 2 weeks ago. All the pre mined coins are assigned to citizens. It all open and transparent.
