There might be shit coins been paraded as ICOs, without even any real life usage. But that doesn't mean we should discredit the blockchain technology. It doesn't have to be Cryptos alone. It entails other services too.

There a lot of shit coins already in the market not really prioritizing the use or purpose of the coins but just to earn money from the project.  we are also aware about those shitty projects that you mention but they arent bothering at all as they can be easily ignored  . they cant harm you and they cant also harm those good projects so let them live normally , you know their owners also wants to profit .

Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.


Please enlighten me.

Block chain is quite different , it is not cryptocurrencies, thus no matter what we cannot associate it entirely with the cryptocurrencies just because they are the most popular aspects in the public eye.
You should understand that blockchain have been supporting from environment conservations to a normal hospital , it is making things way easier for everyone ... The question is do we really need blockchain?

blockchain is not only for cryptocurrency, but many uses for sending data for example. Moreover, there was once the idea that an election using a blockchain system would certainly speed up vote counting, besides that blockchain can also be a backup of data on government systems. I think blockchain technology is needed in daily life
