Actually its not bad to gamble, just make yourself only being responsible into the actions that you are taking and its none others business if you do gamble out with your own money. It is really just that there are those other people who are really that too sensitive when it comes to gambling on which since  this person is really that having a work or job that is really that in connection with money then they will be simply be that trying out to give out some words and opinions into the things that you are dealing into. Sometimes it seems to me that in many countries the population is not controlled by elected legislators and executive power, but rather by bankers and super-large business magnates, who together now represent power. Moreover, power that no one really elected and in this sense it can be considered that this is an unauthorized seizure of power by the banking community. Gambling in the work space is not ethical at all but that do not deserve a sack. I am not sure if bankers gamble because they may have a hard time finding the time especially during office hours when account holders come to them to transact their money. However I agree with you that many bankers gamble outside office hours and I have seen many of them involved in crypto related transactions.
