Why are people still buying XRP?

XRP is very well connected in the banking sector and if they leave all the discussions with the SEC behind they are among the best regulated centralized digital currencies out there. May have speculative value, don't know, I don't like it as it is not real cryptocurrency as most of us understand it.

What is the status quo of their issue with the SEC? Is that fully resolved? It can't be, can it? I guess that will consume a lot of time. Still people are betting on a favorable outcome for XRP.

1. US is not only the market for it, even tho US ban it, it does not mean xrp will die.
2. A lot of partnership with bank has been made with xrp.
3. The tech is built in 6 years and will be use for global transaction with cheap cost.

I don't know but I just think buying XRP is a bet on the Ripple infrastructure becoming a core element of centralized banking. Not at all what we like cryptocurrencies for.

They have been doing that ever since their inception. It was all about partnering up with banks and the goal was never to become a decentralized currency let alone an unregulated one.

Not only XRP but actually ANY centralized Crypto has no potential. All point of crypto lies in decentralization , if its centralized then is worst than USD its only a gift card or even worst than just a gift card. But anyway, this is only just my opinion.
