I remember some time ago someone was faking to be a native Italian speaker in order to farm merit there. Maybe you should try the same thing, but in Romanian board.

Unfortunately I dont know many languages other than my local and English, so cant really farm those merit you talk about. But I hope my local gets a merit source soon, we are definitely drying out there over the last 2 months.

If I remember correctly, few years ago you applied for a merit source status, right? Anyway, hopefully you get it approved the next time theymos decides to readjust merit system.

It's exactly a year ago. Is it some kind of sign or what? 

Can't really understand what's on theymos mind about all those pending applications, it's been a while since anyone added newly but some of them voluntarily asked them to be removed from merit source like HH who is been the sole member who could generate source merits in Indian board but now...

Yet, the activity is holding up, which is a surprise to be honest.

You really dont need to learn, you got tools for that but dont use them but use something robotic? - after all the objective in some section is just to farm merits, so why bother learning a new script and force yourself to bark out pronunciations?

Hehe, it was one year ago and yes that is where I got a itch from, a little bird told me that it has been so. But I can see applications lying here for years so I am willing to wait it out.

Thank you for another informative overview of forum local boards.
I am happy to see our local board growing in last few months, and we have to thank some new members for that improvement.
It's better to wait until the end of the year to see how Bitcoin markets will change, but I think year 2025 will be positive overall for local boards.

Yep, our local board looks the best in the last year or two thanks to few new members that joined/reactivated. We still have a lot of room for improvement as all we need is to some of our members to decide to come back.
