Why the additional fee? Even though it is quite small by comparison to other card fees. USDT is a stablecoin, and the whole point of card brands integrating them as deposit methods is so that the deposit fee can be eliminated, as compared to just accepting Bitcoin or some other L1 cryptocurrency directly.

For 0.25% they are probably in favor use of Bitcoin as L-BTC instead of L-USDT, and I think this is not bad.
You have to pay small fees when swapping L-BTC to L-USDT in Aqua wallet, so it's better not doing that if you already have L-BTC..
I am reading now that fee is actually 1% for each transaction, with $1 being a minimum.
Other crypto cards I used charge even higher fees.

I haven't checked how long they've been in business, but with these types of services you should always be careful and try with small amounts. Anyway, the testing itself costs $50, and the top-up card is almost 7%, which is definitely expensive, although services without KYC have their price.

3d secure is great but I need to pay $50 for a card that has $20 on it and then again $6 for loading it $100, if I want it for cheap stuff and now high limits spending it's just a no for me.

Has anyone any knowledge of KYC free cards with 3rd secure, they don't need to be reloadable but at affordable prices for small cheap purchases of under $50 a month that I would toss after 2-3 puchases with no regrets??
I know that I'm asking for the impossible but paying $60 for a $50 virtual card with 3ds would be a god send! Am I?
Obviously if I'm asking for a KYC card I need it for one job only, not to have a journal of my spending on it.

There are no 3ds crypto cards with cheap fees available anywhere.
Stealths has some 3ds cards VISA and MC, but they have some limits and you should carefully read Product Details.
If you don't need 3ds than Cake Dolphin card is great.

Stealths has some 3ds cards VISA and MC, but they have some limits and you should carefully read Product Details.

It takes  few minutes to ask if there is any, trying my luck, maybe, maybe maybe!
Can you please point to what I should pay attention, they have like 7 lines in both the product and the ToS, am I missing something important as it all seems like trivial stuff to me?

If you are from the EU, their cards are not the best choice for you, but I suggest you contact them and you will get answers to your questions. In addition, this card can be purchased for a minimum amount of $500, is valid for a maximum of 24 hours, and you can make up to 3 transactions (if I'm not mistaken).

However, they have another option (Rewarble Mastercard) without KYC that could be of help to you, but first check that your country is not on the banned list. For some strange reason, even though I live in a country that is a member of the EU, I can't use that card, so I can't say anything specific about it.

Cards from Cake Pay is one thing, and there are also cards from Aqua wallet that are something different, but both cards are without 3ds support (for now).
There are also other alternatives like Bitrefill, TheBitcoinCompany, and other cards that can be found on Bitlist.co website:

All debit cards in general are risky - there are no protections for you if a hacker gets your card info from a leaked database and drains your balance.

Even without hackers and leaks, I have seen to many crypto cards suddenly stopped working for different reasons, and people lost money because of that.
I even use one crypto card for making a purchase, and I later had to refund money back to card, but it never arrived because card was shut down by provider.
That being said, I would recommend only doing card top-up with money you want to spend for one purchase.

They are liquidating the company behind that site.

Here is the email I have received from them.

You can clearly see that is says that "UAB Choise Services" is being liquidated.

Surprisingly, the website still looks normal, as if nothing has ever happened. But you can clearly see the footer text saying: "The website and mobile apps are owned by the company Choise Services UAB. Choise Services UAB design and operate Choise.com website and Choise.com mobile applications jointly."

That means customers are going to LOSE MONEY when they shut down.

Be very careful. I was banned from their Telegram channel for asking about this. I think they are trying to pull off an exit scam!

All debit cards in general are risky - there are no protections for you if a hacker gets your card info from a leaked database and drains your balance.

The risk of someone hacking your card information is always there, but it again depends on how the user uses their card information. Many people are simply too naive and enter their details on fake sites, but for those who know what they are doing, the bigger problem is that the card issuer can freeze funds or request KYC at any time (if they haven't requested it before).

All of these so-called "crypto" cards are in a gray area in some way (especially those without KYC).

It doesn't have to be blatant scam cards like we had some examples in forum before, it's enough for them just to shut down their website.

Did you lose any money that was stuck on your Choise card, or they allowed you to withdraw it?
