im using latest wallet, i added a huge list of nodes suggested by Griffith. Man this wallet is not working. There are no peers. Very annoying. Kindly help out if you can !

Use the bootstrap, I tried it multiple times, always syncs up with boostrap, but the last 8 weeks are slower (that's the boostrap date).

A question about staking, will you get any more coins while staking 24/7 versus staking only once a year ? I had coins back from 2014 and once I opened the wallet to stake, my balance doubled. Is it a fixed yearly inflation or there is something extra for those who stake 24/7 ?

Hey guys,

Finally managed to download the whole blockchain on the new wallet.
Everything looks fine up to the moment in which I replace the private key with my old wallet.

I get the next error:

Runtime Error

So here I am asking for more information from support team

unfortunately errors like that give me little or no information XD

by replace the private key, you mean load it up with a new wallet.dat? or importprivkey from console?

With my latest wallet, staking seems to be working but I have about 8 transaction lines that appear to be stakes that are Minted but "Generated but not accepted" and 1 that is Minted & 1 confirmation, needing 50 to finalize.  Note that the 1 that is "Generated but not accepted" is the most recent stake ---- the other 8 that are still unconfirmed spanned from about 24 hours ago until about 4 hours ago.

Will these stakes clear and be added to my total?  How long will this take?

Staking does seem to be slow to confirm. I've been on 1 confirmation for one stake for the entire day so far.

ya with the bootstrap, kiklo snapshot and about 8 hours of catching up, i'm finally synced and my deposit came through. it just takes a while and i had 3-4 peers connected max... usually only 3.
the wallet does need a bit of work, and maybe a FAQ or SOME kind of instructions in one easy place, but with the help of some cats in here i got it sorted. just deposited all my coin off from CE.

new wallet i just published should address some of the connection issues. people are finding its more like 7-8 peers instead of 2-3 now

but yes. i am working on making the wallet a lot easier to use. this is essential for growth and gaining new members in the community

Open cmd and start the wallet with -salvagewallet option

The latest wallet works for me but in order to not get any surprises, you guys better backup the whole blockchain before using a new wallet. The previous version ruined the blockchain for me, had to sync with bootstrap again, so just go to users\appdata\roamning and copy eccoin as is to different place and if you have any problem with the new wallet, just copy it back. Before you backup, make sure you sync up fully. (check if you have same block height as explorers)

I need some help please.
I did the following:
1. Downloaded OSX v2.4.7.5 from https://www.cryptounited.io/#coin
2. Downloaded the bootstrap (Mac). Copied the files in the bootstrap to the ECC coin folder in 'Application Support' (Mac)

4. Opened the wallet - it took some time before it finally popped a message, " Error loading blkindex.dat"

Please help. What have I done wrong/not done that I ought to have done ?
