As said, nothing is showing in my balance, a confirmed and unconfirmed amount would be good on the site

Yeah, it would be sweet. I'll link your post to Jine ^^

EDIT: The site is being DDoSed AGAIN. If they think they can make Bitcoins.lc quit.. Well, they are WRONG Wink

DDos - lots of requests from limited number of ip`s (around 50-200), or lots of request from lots of ip`s (over 1000) ?

And there we go again.

Jine / Jim - Your biggest mistake here was slagging off established pools, I think you might just have got their backs up.

I also think when you say "Finally a useable pool" You overstepped it, it is the least useable pool out there, I like the way its set out, ANd i believe in small pools, hence im sticking with it (with half of my hashing capabilities), but you are sorely lacking virtually ALL the features which miners actually want - i.e assurances they arent being bummed, being able to check what the predicted reward will be.

The one thing you got right is the top miners part, I love watching my name going up the list, it encourages people to try beat the guy above them, almost like folding at home points.

PLEASE sort it out, I dont want another pool just dropping out of exsistance due to very poor useability.

I hope you take this post with construct, Im in no way slating what you have done, just putting over what im sure a lot of miners are thinking.

you need some sort of protection agains ddos, because this can go on forever...
anyway, I think ddos-ing a pool because they've said something in the topic title is quite childish. Hope this would stop soon because we can ddos too and I'm wondering what would happen if we would all dos other pools ?

and alternate way to receieve stats would be nice like a irc bot or something.
that way if website is ddos you can at least have a backup route to verify progress.

Second block is actually done already. We're just waiting for it to be fully confirmed!
We're working on our third block as of now.

*info*

Thats strange, have you tried restarting your worker?
The monitor script we're using to refresh long poll connections should be pretty fail-save, and i haven't seen that my self either.

Hello, I have been mining for ~12 hours now, and nothing is in my account balance.
This may be because I did not have a wallet address in my account when the block was finished, I was just able to put one in this morning.
Is this some sort of a problem with the block not being confirmed, or were my coins lost in the system?

Thanks!

If I helped you in some way, and you feel obligated to do so, you can tip me some coin!

Your account balance on Bitcoins.lc will update when:
  • The pool has solved a block, where you have contributed shares/work.
  • The solved block is confirmed by the Bitcoin Network and is available for payout.

In other words; you will need to try things out longer and be patient - if you want to receive a payout.

There is no 'estimated balance' based on how many shares you currently have submitted on the current block the pool is working on. It's been suggested as a feature though - since a lot of people don't seem to understand how things work.

I have been mining long enough on your server to contribute shares to solve a block; however it seems that I still need to wait for the blocks to be confirmed.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Indeed, each block requires 120 further blocks until it matures; at the network target rate of 1 block every 10 minutes this is around 20 hours for a full maturation - obviously at the current rate of increasing hash rate this is dropping rather fast towards the end of each retarget.
