I'm just wondering what's up with bitcoins.lc.

1). the last time I mined, I was getting between 3% and 8-10% rejected
2). We're currently at 80.42 Ghash/s, why?
3). The site was going to get updated nearly two months ago, yet hasn't been

Those are the quick 3 that I can think of.

Hi!

1. We should be at < 1% rejects, with out patches - currently it's a lot higher due to a unknown attack.

2. Read above

3. I've been busy with other projects (still gotta make a living!) hence the delay. My current project ends tomorrow - after that I should have time to focus on everything that i promised 2 months ago - I'm terribly sorry about this, but i had no choice...

To sum it up - we're currently having serious issues due to some kind of flooding attack - I'm a bit unsure from where or what currently - I'll keep you updated via twitter as much as i can.

We're now using nginx as a load balancer for the pool.
For now - it seems stable, a bit more config is required to make it better tho.

Please follow us on twitter for latest updates/new/information.

Forgot to add the https-port to the new load balancer.
Sorry for that, it should now work to access your account again.

Please point your botnets somewhere else   Angry Angry Angry Angry
I just banned a few users due to excessive amount of connections.
I will implement a new cron module asap that will automaticly ban users when they are detected as a botnet.

This combined with a couple of configurations - we're back online and stable.
Currently we're running on the old pfSense setup again, but we will switch to a nginx-based load balancer as soon as i know the setup works.

I see some extreme low Mhash/s i have about 520-620 MH/s running but i see between 360 and 420 Mhash being reported by the site for a while now so what gives
This is a extreme difference in numbers especially that one is on the site only showing 33% of its real Mhash/s done. Real Mhash 79-82 Mhash site  34 - 37 Mhash ......

I know a smaller pool that would love to have some more miners while the issues here get fixed.

Hi!

What issues are you referring to Jezzz? As far as i know - we don't have any major issues at all.
We got extremely low stales, fast getworks, 100% uptime of all nodes for the past week. No connection issues or any similar issues at all.

bronan: It's always your miner that shows the actual hashrate.
The site first of all have a delay, and secondly is only a guesstimate.

We might change the algo for that a bit tho...

Some news anyway:
I'm finally working on the new system again, sorry for the huge delays.
I had to do some actual non-bitcoin work for a living for the past month.

Oh!  Sry.  This thread says you're being ddos'd like the others: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=48008.0.  I scanned the page real quick and saw some people having issues.  You might want to correct the guy on that thread.

We have another botnet aiming us, which is makes the pool a bit glitchy.
I'm currently working on a solution for it.

I've banned a few users + workers which had large amounts of connections and very low amount of submitted shares.
If your account is banned, please contact our support with a good explination to the low hashrate and huge amounts of connections. Possible we can work something out...

EDIT: We had around 160k active "states" (which of those about 100k was keep-alive connections) for a few minutes ago. Now it's down to 16k again, which is a loooot less...
