I wonder what happened to my subscription to this thread... Haven't received any e-mails for quite a while...

When I don't receive any email about a thread I'm subscribed to for a week or more, I visit it manually (just in case). There seems to be a bug in the forum software or whatever handles email delivery that sometimes doesn't send/deliver the subscription email.
Just an idea, though... Wink

** NOTICE ** Bitcoins.lc is switching system, pool-software, domain and a lot more - NOW.
Bitcoins.lc will redirect to Bitlc.net which is the new system/site/domain.

It will be a bit glitchy for a few hours starting now, but bare with us. Smiley

I'll keep you posted here, via twitter and in our IRC-channels (#bitlc at Freenode and #bitcoins.lc at Quakenet)

Seems like your upgrades lowered my reject rate to nearly 0, what did you do under the hood Wink?

Earlier we used a load-balanced setup based upon pfSense and 3 to 6 pushpoold/bitcoind nodes.

Now we're using ONE bitcoind and ONE poolserverj server (workmaker-edition).
The site is down for the moment, bitcoins.lc is redirecting to bitlc.net.

There is still work to be done tho, currently I'm moving funds and setting up the new system.

I'll keep you guys posted here.

One suggestion tho
, if you're not currently using pool.bitlc.net (port 80 or 8080) as poolserver, I'd suggest you switch to it.
Bitcoins.lc port 8080 will continue to work, but it makes my setup a lot more complicated Smiley

The new site is launched.

A short breif on what's changed:

* Full 8 decimal payments
* Custom payment amount (no need to pay full amount)
* Redone design
* Phone-number & contact address
* New domain
* New logo
* New poolserver (now using poolserverj)
* New estimation algoritm
* More stats
* Redone stats-page
* Beta worker-statistics
* Upcoming User & Worker API (later today/tomorrow)
* Top-list is back online
* Worker comments!
* Pool graph (Hashrate and workers)
* Site blog
* Total and daily earnings
* Login-log with IP-addresses and timestamps
* Contact-form.
* Now using HTTPS for everything (EV SSL cert is on it's way)
* CSRF protection for all forms.

And well... a lot more Smiley

I'll get back to work, but first something important:

PLEASE notify us if you find any bugs.
We're offering a reward if you find something really critical and letting us now before trying to exploit it!

More updates are scheduled for tomorrow. Including mobile version of the site, launch of the User-API and deposit bitcoin functionality.

Please let me know asap if you find anything that looks odd.
(Via e-mail, contact form, PM, IRC or similar)

I really need to get some rest now Smiley brb in 4-6h...

Another new thing that i missed to mention is that we should have a record low amount of stales/rejects now.
Personally, i have 4 rejects in total, for over 6000 shares. Smiley

Hi!

Sorry to disappoint you, but no. And i won't be either - not right now anyway.
Since we're launching a full secure online bitcoin wallet service.

Hi guys!

I've discovered a issue.

Block detection is online, all shares and rounds are counted - BUT currently it's not crediting users as it should.
The new "one wallet per user"-system seems to malfunctioning.

It's currently not crediting the users as it should cause the blocks aren't verified yet (so the script doesn't run until the block have 120 confirmations).
I'll look into it in just a few hours, but first i really need to get some sleep (Been awake for over 24 hours straight now).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Jim,
have you fixed the issues?

For the rest I want to say that your pool is great and it's the only one where I've 0% stale shares, kudos!

We had a software malfunctioning a few days ago, but at the moment - everything is working perfectly.

And yes - everything is up and running perfectly, block detection and everything related works as it should!

I updated our twitter to the current state Smiley

Just a few hours after i wrote that last message, we hit the MySQL-connection limit and the webserver (not the pool) started timing out a bit.

Sorry for that, the issue was only for a few minutes.. Smiley

A highly beta version of the User API is released, for now - only to get data (full JSON-RPC API comes later).

Visit https://www.bitlc.net/user/api for more info.

More to come later today Smiley

EDIT:

Released a full worker-stats api as well.
Now it's possible to get all previous round data for your users/workers..

I'm not sure if that's usable for anyone, but maybe! Smiley

I just wanted to ask if there are any penalty strategy for pool hoppers? I have noticed whenever a round extends for a day, loads of hoppers jump in, and move out once the round is finished.

The pool stats are delayed. Pool hoppers have ways of circumventing this. I don't know where you are seeing such stats, but it is probably that the hoppers know about a new round before you do, and "move out" once they have mined the profitable early shares.
