I've been a ghost on this forum for a while but have just signed up for an account. [SNIP]
Cool story bro. I think everyone invested should agree to accept interest payments up to the day he announced closure and no more, I think even then you'd be lucky to get your money back. If that's your position, why bother DOXing "Trendon Shavers [et al]" in one of your earliest posts? I don't come around here much, but there's been plenty of BTC fiascos this year...Y U chime in on this one? Just to get involved on a forum I've just signed up for, the point of a forum is to interact with other people discussing things... I formed that opinion after googling him and realizing he shut down his main business at the same time, + reading the amount of interest he's accumulating and quotes from irc. I don't think there's a hope anyone's going to get their money back, but I think this whole debacles making a lot of people with bitcoin feel uneasy. I don't come around here much, but there's been plenty of BTC fiascos this year...Y U chime in on this one? You've just quoted me saying I've just signed up for an account! I like the chopstick idea!

Anyone who actually has serious money tied up with this should have gotten a lawyer by now and started the process along. A lot can be revealed with civil suit subpoenas especially if done in a timely manner.
Anyone who actually has ANY money tied up with this would be a BIGGER fool to hire a lawyer. Throwing good money after bad has never worked out for anyone.

you see the 100k BTC xfer he just made? that's likely heading to Gox, which he will then fuck the market a little by dumping it, getting yet another ~ $1M USD for his scam.
I wouldn't assume that these 100K are headed for liquidation at Gox, (unless Pirateat40 controls 100 or so Gox accounts, which is unlikely) since this is now stolen money, and since that would be a bit transparent. I thought Gox was capable of blacklisting coins. Why don't they track the coins now? That way they would't let him cash out the stolen coins. Yes. Also, why don't they track the coins of all "investors" in this scheme who were silent and happy and compliant as they were receiving their payments over weeks and months...? After all, these coins were "stolen" from other participants in this scheme. Everyone was perfectly fine cashing out other people's coins, no questions asked. Now that the supply of assholes gaping with greed has dried out, they crawl out crying for their "stolen" coins. I made about BTC2 via bitcoinmax...perhaps I'm holding stolen goods? I'm probably one of the few willing to give back any goods deemed stolen.

I am pleased to announce that pirate will be available for questioning in person if you happen to be in the area on 10th September. Date: Monday 10 September 2012 Time: 3 P.M. Place: Vaudeville Bistro, lower level (230 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 830-992-3234) For any queries about the meet please contact him directly at (972) 281-9376 Now, I'm no genius...but..... Did Pirate honestly drive from Fredericksburg to a 7-11 in Plano to sell a single Video card ? .....on short notice ? OR.... Could the trip from McKinney to Plano be much more feasible ?

What happened to the guy claiming pirate shipped items from some area starting with "P" (Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, something like that) my memory is pretty good but I forgot which area it was exactly

Depending on how much BTC it is, spending a bit to serve him with papers might suddenly see the account paid out. ;p Anyone who actually has serious money tied up with this should have gotten a lawyer by now and started the process along. A lot can be revealed with civil suit subpoenas especially if done in a timely manner.

It's about as useful as serving Santa Claus for not bringing the right presents. Bitlane is filing the report though right, he says he doesn't talk shit and he said he was going to file the report, so he must have already done it.

In order to serve you have to know who and where he is, which would be one up on serving Santa Claus. So yes, spending a bit of money to be able to serve him papers would be in order if owed a lot of BTC. It's about as useful as serving Santa Claus for not bringing the right presents. Bitlane is filing the report though right, he says he doesn't talk shit and he said he was going to file the report, so he must have already done it.

1. File a suit vs John Doe (AKA Pirateat40) 2. Subpoena online information (Dropbox, Facebook, GPUMax registration, etc.) 3. Cross check with available legal identification (State ID, Background Services, etc.) 4. Serve Papers Good luck with your letter addressed "Santa's Workshop, North Pole". In order to serve you have to know who and where he is
