@baristor is another user that could be added to the list, @macsga.
Check their latest posts... just referral link spam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=341745;sa=showPosts;start=0

P.S: based on their trust feedback, it seems that the referred link contains malware.

Things have taken a nice turn during my absence the last 4 days.

Due to abuse, newbie-posted embedded images are now disabled on these pages:
- Topic display
- Recent posts / patrol
- Previews
They're not currently hidden in PMs or on some other pages (like a user's "show posts" page), though I might change that later if it seems necessary.

Disabled images get transformed into links automatically. When the poster becomes a Jr member, the images that he tried to post previously will automatically be re-enabled (though there might be a few minutes of delay).

This extends to all past posts as well as future ones.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.new#new

I really hope this will cut down the rhythm of sockpuppets and their posts; and I wouldn't mind if this thread is rendered useless...

I really struggled to add this one to the list, he's definitely ultra bear oriented, but after I reviewed his latest post and his (forbidden) picture on personal posts history, I decided that he belongs here. There probably will be more instances of him. Please update your lists.

Please talk about this nonsense in staff forum and see if IP ban can be applied to these guys.

Units of evil are applied when an account is banned, ban an IP is problematic because collateral damage is likely to happen, specially if he used public internet or high anonymous proxy.

There was already at least 1 report of the wrong people being banned because of some IP being banned(in fact his account appeared as banned in some IPs and he could post normaly with others)

I've been away for a couple of days, because of my transition from OSX to Ubuntu. So, expect a bit of absence until I figure things out. It was something I really wanted to do and I had some time left so there it is...

Two more additions for today. Thanks for the heads up newIndia. Please update your lists:

Actually I've already taken this to the staff forum as an admin will be needed to check and ban them. They occasionally pop up and I've seen 6-7 of them so far. I'll try my best to nuke those posts as soon as possible.

Those situations are very rare though.

Why have you decided to switch to Ubuntu (just asking; I'm supportive of such as change)? Looks like September is really quiet in comparison to August where there were a lot of members.

I'm a tech savvy and like to have a glance at everything technology has to offer. This time though, is different. I've got a Ram upgrade for my Macbook Pro (Mid-2010). It had 8Gb and I went for the 16Gb upgrade. When I installed it the computer booted up normally, even saw the 16gb ram installed on OSX hardware tab. After a couple of minutes it popped! When rebooted I saw the warning screen. A long story short, the 16gb of ram for my model is usable in full only by Ubuntu and/or Windows 10. I left the second option out without a second thought. Windows belong to the past for me and only have to work with a windows pc at work because there's no other option.

So, Ubuntu it is. This thing is ultra stable, utilizes both screens via thunderbolt (have the laptop monitor plus a 32" LG one for my presentations & calcs) and I think we have a winner.
Bye bye OSX.

Looks like things have been quiet this month. We have done our best to subdue the 'Bitcoin ponzi' troll and others very nicely this month.

Ah you're using a Macbook. I've used Ubuntu back while it was at version ~12. It is quite good indeed. However, I fear that we would be drifting away from the original topic if we continue.

Thank you for removing my stats.  Embarrassed  The List looks huge due to the second post (not using code brackets for the alphabetical order).

-snip-
Even though your input is appreciated I suggest that you do not double post but rather update your posts.

Don't worry, I won't bother you again.
