Why are Legendary Members only worth 1-2 BTC? A Legendary Member can make over 6 BTC in 1 year on a good signature campaign. Seems stupid that somebody would dedicate themselves to the forum for 3 years to become a Legendary Member & then sell the account for a measly 1 BTC.
I presume it's very rare to see a Legendary Member sell their account?

If you look closely at this thread you'll see that people are shouting prices at each other left and right and it's really not clear where any of the data comes from.  Just like you said, some of the prices are surprisingly low, but others by other posters are surprisingly high (who would by a Jr. account for any price?).  I think the best thing to do is to figure that this thread is basically who are buying/selling to shout their price a bit to see if they can manipulate the market.  What else can it be without any real data?

There is real data -- it's just not a liquid market. So while you may see one Hero Member sold at 0.45 BTC, you are unlikely do find another. So this really isn't a good indicator of price. I think when BTC turns bullish again, we will see renewed interest in the forum and in buying accounts. Maybe then, we will see more liquidity.

They're wildly different because there is no fixed price and many variables. If someone has a just turned hero with crappy posts and can't sign a message then that will go for much less than if someone has a higher activity hero with great posts and can sign a message from an old address. Sometimes people want a quick sale and will accept the first lowball offer they get whereas if they had a little patience they will likely be able to sell it for much more.

I don't know how you can know any data about this sort of thing unless you are:

1) an escrow who does the trades
2) a buyer
3) a seller

Even if you are one of these three because of the anonymity allowed here it's never clear who you're actually dealing with.  You could easily be an escrow and also be a buyer and a seller would never know better.  Even if you are one of these three you still don't know what other people's deals look like because everything is done in secret.  You say there is data, but I don't se how any of the people saying "look here", or "here's my list" can be counted as offering verifiable data.

You are correct -- an outsider could never confirm the actual deal (account details + BTC transaction). But we do see haggling, as well as deals agreed to in some threads (sometimes the escrow even posts in thread). And obviously those that are involved in the market know what prices they have bought and sold for. We can also see the open bids and asks, if you will.

Obviously people decide what they are willing to accept or pay for an account based on their perception of the market. We don't see Jr Members for 1 BTC. We don't see Legendary Members for 0.01 BTC. So clearly, we can read into the market to some extent.

0.45 BTC for HERO account is very low price, only hero account with crappy post is sold with that price. I remember some people try to lowballing hero account with creating WTB thread and try to buy hero account with 0.3-0.45 BTC. But it seems no one interested to sell their account with that low price. In my experience, me & my friend can sell hero account for 0.55 - 0.65 BTC to buyer who created WTB thread.
But it's back to post quality again. Account with high quality post will get higher price, and signed message availability too.

there isn't enough demand for buying an hero above 0.5, because you need one month basically, for every signature to roi, and people are impatience with bitcoin that is not so healthy

actually a good hero should be in the range of 1 btc, and hero with good trust much above that

actually theres quite a few; fastbets and crypto-games seem to give quite a nice rate for their campaigns, check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
it was updated earlier today so it should be quite useful.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

people have short attention spans, though. Cheesy i've been watching this market for a while, and it seems that people are focused on ROI within 4-6 weeks. can't comment on the fairness of that, but nonetheless, it seems most don't want to wait around for 3 months.

I think in 3 weeks time you have to get ROI, as long as it can be active and have a good quality post.

you can roi in two weeks actually, but you can do it with bit-x only, there is no other way around, if you manage to sell it at 10% more, seeing how you have more post, it would be a good deal, the problem is that dealing with unlimited campign with more than 1 account is useless

another thing you can do is buy one account do some trade with it, therefore increase its trust, and sell it for a better price, it should be a relatively fast way

It'll be nice to be able to collate all the data for sold accounts so far and their corresponding prices so we can get an average sale price.

time is a valuable investment. there are high ranked members who are able to make hundreds of posts per week/month, these get good money. but it costs them a lot time and effort to keep the quality up.

depending on post quality and the availability of a signed message, as well as the activity of the account, it could be anywhere from 0.05 to 0.015 BTC. too few details in your post to make a more accurate call on the price.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.
