Many exchanges, Cryptopia included, have what are called APIs.  These allow computers to trade and place orders, all without a person.  Smart people code up trading algorithms and let computers watch prices and place orders.  Think of 3-4 bots trading between themselves, tricking each other into buying at higher and higher prices, not realizing the insanitary of a $700/UNIT price, obeying the code precisely.

Yesterday i made some profit but then i lost everything. First i invested when price start to rise. i buy at 3 $ and sell it at 30$, then i put more money and buy it at 300$ and sell it at 700$ and after that i got greedy, sell all other coins (stratis and power ledger) and buy it at 800 $, after that market stoped. in few minutes drop from 800 to 500$ then sell it at 500 $ then buy back at 60 $ and now is worth 0.60 $.
I still hope for the scam from yesterday to happen one more time, if not

It's mined the same as Bitcoin.  Or you can buy UNIT on an exchange, then run the wallet software on your computer.  You'll get free UNIT just for running the wallet/node.  This is something Bitcoin is missing.

Currently I'm running into an issue with Yobit. On the 7th of july a made a transaction  from coinexchange to yobit. When i made my deposit, the wallet went into
maintenance.

Like the block explorer shows the transaction is done succesfully.

Only Yobit has their wallets under maintenance since the 4th of july and today its still under maintenance.
Because of this my 10000 unit coins do not even appear in my Yobit wallet, so i can't access them, I've send them serveral support messages.
Once with a response all the others without. Their response was:

Wallet  is on maintenance.
The solution to this cryptocurrency will take some time, need to update the wallet.
We apologize for any inconvenience


Five months later I still cannot see my unit coins. I was an early adopter of UNIT coins and i bought it as an investment.
It makes me feel really sick that i cannot access my coins that I've bought together with my best friend. For us 10.000 dollar
is a lot of money, and we feel really stolen by yobit on the moment.

Is there maby anything you can do as being an dev member to push Yobit to give me at least access to my coins/wallet and/or let them update
their UNIT wallet?
