Just mined this coin for 12 hours with one of mine S9's and the rewad 5 coins only???
According to mining calculators I should be making about 20 coins a day, but why so little?

I was using Ispace pool. Does anyone reccomend any other better maybe?

Very excited about this project and want to contribute but if the mining will be like this I am going back to BTC/BCC mining instead...

...Are you by any chance linked to this project ?...
If you meant me, no; I'm just a random miner that spoke on something he found suspicious.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

The OP probably needs updating:

You can solo mine at: http://mining.securepayment.cc/pools/universalcurrency/
And there is also a Faucet: http://faucet.securepayment.cc/unit/

Hey everyone lets get UNIT on a staking pool.  I'm sick of it sitting in my windows wallet waiting a month to stake and then never staking. If we get it in a staking pool, we can have it stake daily cause we pool it all up and don't need a large amount individually.

Go to the StakeUnited.com discord channel and request they add it to the pool  https://discord.gg/WEJ5a8n

And...of course i have a referral link.  But check out the discord first, go to the new coins channel and say you want UNIT added, then check out how they support their people there, they are really helpful. I have all my POS coins there and they really do stake way more often than alone (it sounds like a shpeel, but i have doubled my coins on at least one coin so far).  If you find you like them, use my referral (or join with no referrer and then add me as your referrer later)  https://stakeunited.com/aanubisStake

And you expect that your little miner can find how many blocks per day at a diff of 76 million +?
 Roll Eyes

The only thing "strange" is that you guys would blame the coin (or a given pool) for your not having a large percentage of the network hashrate with just 1 miner.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I blame no one. You are saying that. I just asked questions, should read better so you don't get confused.

If is something with the pool, I don't know, but according to calculators I should be getting 20 coins on 24 hours and not after 36 hours like it just did.
The very same calculator, when mining bitcoin, even if with only one machine, gives me a very accurate amount. I usually get even more than what the calculator says per machine.
So yes, is at least "STRANGE". as I have said before, that all other coins are according to the calculations when this is way lower. I find no other adjective than "strange" for this Smiley

I am actually glad that I just put one of my machines to try this coin.
Now back to Bitcoin and specially Bitcoin Cash, as I am better off mining those (BCH has way better forecasts for the next years than UNIT), and just buying some couple of hundred UNITs with money instead Cheesy

Good luck with this, miners!

No clue what "calculator" you used, but it sent you down the wrong path. At the time of writing this, the expected earnings of 80TH/s is 93UNIT p/day. Which means that your expected average for 1 S9 is ~ 15.7; so, if you got 20, then thank the pool for its good luck and stfu.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Good luck with this miners!

You calculations probably don't account for the PoS type blocks which will (every time one is generated) reset your current work.  Also, 'calculations' become less accurate as difficulty fluctuates more with UNIT vs BTC/BCH.
