With the bootstrap on the original post it is still taking 2+days for syncing

I was wondering if I could get some help....I mined this coin years ago and left it in wallet and now ive updated and got the blockchain updated if shows all the deposits but my total is 0.
what gives? And how do I fix it?

Wow slow response time here, hope to see my coins again one day.....In transacton history I see all the mined and deposits and there is no sent coins at all not a single outgoing payment but all the coins are GONE! Poof right out of wallet!!!!!!!!!!

That is how proof-of-stake works. You'll see some new coins in addition to your existing ones that have disappeared. |

this is not stakeing..... 1000's of coins gone!!!!!
there is no way for me to use them... the bal is 0.....correction bal is 0.03
the transaction history show lots comming and no outgoing payments.
Wallet state not staking no mature coins.

Just as a data point, I downloaded the blk0001.dat file and renamed it to bootstrap.dat after installing the wallet. UniversalCurrency-qt took 58 hours of CPU time on a core i7-4970@4.6 GHz to sync with the network. And it is using 1 GB of RAM at the moment.
That might be a stumbling block for a LOT of users.
[EDIT: The Digibyte client uses about 1.6 GB of RAM, so that's in line I guess.]

As a service to the community, I took a snapshot of the Universal blockchain this morning and uploaded it to Google Drive (you will have to ignore the "whoops" message and click download). Stop universal-qt, put the contents of the 7z file into your %appdata%\universalcurrency folder, and restart it. Should get you to the morning of 1/26/18, around 10 AM. Cuts the 58 hours of CPU time down to about 30 seconds. |

Came across UNIT on wtm a few days back as giving the highest payout of all the sha256 coins.
Having trouble finding an up to date list of pools for it though.
Anyone here know of one?

coin.pw is a mining pool for this coin.
i am having a hard time believing this is the most profitable coin anymore with the recent influx of new miners and the difficulty increase.
the price should be over $2 for how difficult it is to get new coins, at least.
also, the if the creator really wants to see this goto "1-2K in 2018" he should release new features and fix issues in his code.
he should fix the wallet so it doesn't take 3 or 4 days to update, too.
this could easily go very high in value but need some support from the devs.
