Not an uncommon problem with QT wallets.

I am experiencing this for the first time. I stake many coins and have staked a lot before too but never had this problem. This warning from Malwarebytes is usually seen while bittorrent client tries to access some websites while seeding or downloading.

no technical expert here, but viral wallet also accesses some sites while staking/downloading the blockchain since it has oauth with twitter...could that be the problem?

Yeah you are right, There is a possibility.

I have personally seen this with many wallets.  Are you upgraded to the most recent version of Malware-Bytes?

Yep, I have.

Its after the upgrade that i noticed the warnings. Well anyways, it doesn't cause any hindrance to the staking process. I just wanted to bring this behaviour of the client to notice of the developer.

The malware thing does not seem to want to die down. Why not have the source code analysed by a malware expert to see if there is anything strange in it? The basic principle here is garbage in garbage out, meaning if the source code is ok, binaries compiled from it will be ok and if the source code is not ok, binaries will not be ok.

does anyone know why after splitting my coins in different addresses my network weight dropped to 1 with expected reward in 750 days? Huh isn't splitting coins supposed to maximize staking profit?

There are a lot of people staking and 1.5K coins is a small amount.. Maybe speak to someone more up to date with staking but with only 1.5K coins you're probably not going to be staking a lot.

I also am not really confident with staking, I guess I'll just put them all together again, used to stake around 25 coins per hour before splitting, I can't really complain Smiley thanks for the help!

I just read all the hate on twitter, the funny thing is the people hating are all in the same circle of friends. And that Blocktalk crew just called it a scam without any real reason. They will all be sad and put in their plkace as this network grous and more people get on board.

Do we know when the satellitenode will be available to partake in?

It is a coordinated attack. These guys are getting low and dirty. To have such hate in one's heart is truly evil. I do not know how people can live day to day with such venom in their hearts and minds.

Someone suggested in slack that when you add a bunch of small despotis to your staking wallet that you stake more. I tried it and it does work. I tried lots of 200 and 500. Seemed to really pick up in lots of 500. Staking like a boss right now.

Hi folks!

I wonder what we all are waiting for, pricewise?

The price is trawling around 11-12k and im puzzled about the low valuation!

What is the market waiting for, before it set a significant higher value on the coin ?

Presumably, the market is waiting for the platform launch on June 3. Once they see the revenue-sharing, it will go viral. Tongue
