According to IRC, Pirate has paid 22/459.

Now imagine he takes over all the PPT accounts, a huge number that probably well under 100BTC in them. For a relatively minor sum, he could pay out 750/1500 or whatever the numbers end up being over the course of months. Progress is being made so people are not happy but not suing, and Pirate can wait until the attention dies off before just going away.

I can't believe people are actually upset about this. It was obvious he would default at some point. Even after the default there was time to cash out and only lose 20%. Anyone who held on hoping to get all their money plus interest, knew it was no guarantee. I'm not disputing that pirate is as crooked as a barrel of fish hooks, but dragging this out will only hurt bitcoin. Everyone needs to cut their losses and move on.

That should be everyone's stance. Individual lenders have no authority to settle any debt with Pirate because the other lenders own a portion of that debt. The agreement between the lenders and the PPT owner controls how any payments on that shared debt are distributed, and bypassing the PPT owner breaches that agreement.

If two people pool their money to buy a house as an investment, each paying half, with an agreement to split the profits when the house is sold, then each one can certainly sell their interest in the house. But they cannot cut off any 50% portion of the house they choose, sell it, and keep all the money. They don't each own a particular half of the house that is theirs to do what they wish. They each have a one-half interest in the entire house. Selling half the house and keeping the profits deprives the other half-owner of their half of the proceeds from that portion of the house. The proceeds from the house are to be distributed according to their pooling agreement.

It is the same with PPTs. There isn't some specific Pirate debt that corresponds to a single share such that Pirate can pay that share back. Each holder has a pro-rate share of the entire debt with their agreement governing how payments are distributed.

In case the defaulted entity BCST is assuming its liabilities to bitcoinmax or pays out
any amount to bitcoinmax, all principal investments are payed back evenly up to the
amount deposited.  The gained interest of all accounts is put in escrow until further notice.

If bitcoinmax liabilities to you are not fully covered by this proceedure and in case
BCST pays zilch, i payb.tc, will pact with bitlane to recover what is being able to recover
from Trendon Shavers.

The interest which i accrued during operation of bitcoinmax up to date is given back to recover
your principal investments.

As far as it stands, pirate has not option neither right to get your data or information
through my hands.

Seeing forward to provide further investment possibilities to you in the future.
