On the right side you see the difficulty there, I already assign a high diff to nicehash (IP)'s, thats why I don't need to open a separate port for them.
You can also try the "Pool Verifier" from Nicehash - it'll say the pool is ok.

I'm mining myself (a lot) and also on other pools and I have the problems with nicehash over all pools unfortunately. At some time they will probably fix that.

Dude, you should adjust your "max hashrate".

For instance; current diff is ~820 and your rented rig's diff is around 9k.
That's why suprnova rejects you.

Don't be greedy raise the HR slowly...

Yes, on supernova pools. But coinminers and others work fine.

BTW: I have no problem with supernova before. It was starting with DNS issues, and now this.

Yes it's normal. Wallet shows you staked 100 Goat but you get 50 goat because of the Herds, they got the half of the stake.

Thanks, I tried it again, I think it might be my router. I open the port and check on canyouseeme.org and it shows as open, then I try it again after a minute or so and it is now closed for no apparent reason as i did not move a thing in the router settings. I've been going at it for hours now, I think it was not meant to be...............

Open a command and type ipconfig on Windows or ifconfig on linux to verify. Or, just find your computer under where it says "dhcp client list" on your router page!

500 to the herds

I got a POS block of showing 1000 Goat as reward, after conformation was reduced to 500 (the block remained as 1000 in the transaction history, but the balance was increased only by 500. After restart the block was corrected to 500 in the history. I was expecting 1000 Goat. What is wrong there or did I understand something wrong?

thats how these things work for hipos and masternodes.
the pos shows the whole ammt but only credits you your portion.
for masternodes selected to receive an award you are displayed the transaction value within that block and are credited your reward.

the displays are wonky but if you've used a pos coin with masternodes you'd know this is normal.

maybe sometime in the future a dev can fix this until then its all copycode, and slightly annoying, but completely benign.

Only 1 HerdNode gets the reward per block. I did quite well. I set up my masternode last night and earned over 20,000 goats in less than a day. However, there are now 23 Herdnodes instead of the 13 there was last night and the reward is now 25 instead of 500. But it's still good.

Dump what?. There was no premine, no significant instamine by dev (ocminer's pool started finding blocks from 72), mining cost was above 2.5k most of the time. Only coins he could have grabbed cheaply is setting up a herdnode early or buy some cheap coins on Yobit (that anyone could have done).

I think he has got some bad friends from his previous coin, who are trying to keep the price down to destroy this coin.

If the dev has got at-least a little bit of honesty, then there is only one way the price is going ...... UP

Grab as much as goats at these cheap prices and only invest what you can comfortably afford to loose. It is all speculation here in crypto world.

Please note that this is a less secure way. If this resolves the issue, then there is a way to allow only the goatd application to be exempted from the firewall filtering. I am not completely aware of it, please use google.

Naturally, this dev wants the coin to be listed on bittrex before sinking an exorbitant amount of time and energy developing and executing a roadmap. The dev is trying to make a profit, and there is nothing wrong with that. Why spend more time than you need to if the coin goes nowhere? It appears the dev is also asking for community support. If someone cannot go to twitter and type a few lines, then GTFO now. You deserve to be rekt if you are that lazy.

yes followed instructions word for word have set up masternodes before with no trouble my herdnode was working fine, but now it is not

Managed to fix it all up and running, wouldn't connect on port 27879 so tried port 999 and its working fine now

Then, click on the "Internet Time" tab on the Date and Time window that appears.

From there you should be able to select a time server to sync with, such as time.nist.gov

If you're not getting any debug console errors, it could be either that your VPS date/time really is off, or you might have a lot of load on the server (just my best guesses).

Do you have other resource intensive apps running? Does the system clock on your VPS match the time when you google "what time is it" on a browser on your VPS?

They only look at the price, as if it's not them selling cheap, and it's my fault for not buying all the coins to give them free btc. People in crypto know the game, and when they make profit, they do not forget to shit on the dev on the way out, but if they lose, guess what they will also shit on the dev on the way out. Very much agree with a lot of what you said man. 

Obviously there are many situations in which the dev should be chewed out or shat on but in most cases theyre used as a scapegoat (no goat pun intended). It shouldn't be your, or any other developers, sole responsibility to create value for a coin. In my opinion it should and needs to be a joint collaboration between the developer(s) and community. Also when the community contributes to a coin's success, most will actually be more inclined to hold during short term price swings, in either direction, and look to make plays on true, larger trends.

That's the problem we face here. People are relying on you to do something or release some feature that will give added value to coin with the intent to sell immediately for a relatively small profit. Promising flashy features or creating pretty graphics is not the difficult part, its solidifying and strengthening the network that takes the most time and effort.

Naturally, Bittrex would be nice. However, Bleutrade may be a nice little exchange to get these on. However, I don't know if there is a way to get their attention. Would twitter help? Or would a tweet get ignored.

I think seeing cryptsy add Goat would be nice. Especially too, considering Goat's low historic exchange volume, if we get added to cryptsy we won't have to worry about getting delisted because of low volume, because they rarely do that.

Just my two cents But obviously besides that, Bittrex, Poloneix, or Shapeshift would be nice.

were free to mine, so your concept of a scam is a bit twisted, go buy some
viral or circ, I am sure you will get your money's worth, better yet buy a tent
in the water and some URO and one day all the farmers of the world will buy
your cow shit holdings and you become a Shitionair, then relax in your mobi resort..

Yes I am very well known, I dropped one coin.
You need to learn a lot to understand who moves markets and who pumps
and dumps. If you think a coin dev does that , then you are very novice and should
not get involved in crypto. Coin devs are not market movers, always remember that.

Edit: I think there is something wrong with this coin - I can't even connect to my own node(s) when including them as addnodes in my goat.conf - always 0 connections, for many days now.

Taking them down because I need the server resources. It was a fun ride while it lasted!
