Look like a lot of work for almost nothing in return.

I'm glad at least one newb gets it. Sadly most don't until they've wasted countless tedious hours filling in captchas and have next to nothing to show for it and then when they try spend the dust they have to pay massive fees because of all the tiny inputs.

People don't realize they do 8 hour's of this stuff for cents.   It's crazy how little of a return.

I don't blame new people.  I blame those who spread faucets wit referrals and stories of how much they make.   When a faucet has a jackpot.... it's hardly ever going to pay it out.  When you see "Win up to"... know you will win less.

I am dammn sure that the people who use faucets doesn't make much but the people who owns rotator or faucets itself make little..
I previously owned a rotator and I made 0.01 btc in 20 days..
It isn't nice  so in my opinion none of people should relate them self with the word faucet...

I explained above what faucets are for, there is no point in trashtalking something that is made to instruct and help new people that start working or want to work in the future with bitcoins, no one says faucets are made to make you rich, if you think that its your own problem, like thinking you will be rich playing dice. Blame the player not the game

Is this what you believe faucets do for new people?   I think when earn a few cent's it will most likely turn them off to BTC.  They might even associate BTC with pennies as that is what they would earn.

I would much rather somone read abut bitcoins and understand them.  Even mining with a few dollar usb stick is good as far as learning about BTC.  I would say a block erupter usb stick would teach someone more about BTC then a facuet.  I don't see faucets as spreading knowledge.

End goal of a faucet is to make money for owner, that is true of any faucet.

A USB mini-miner used to be educational, when it could produce dust above the payout threshold of many pools. Now, it's hard to get sufficient dust or even shares at the current share difficulties set by pools.

I have recently become active again after a long period of inactivity. Cryptographic proof that my account has not been compromised is available.

HI there !

I just want to give my point of view as a newbie:

I first heard about Bitcoin maybe 2 years ago, and I thought it interesting. But when I saw that 1 BTC = 1000 USD, I thought it was too much money for me and I forgot the idea of buying one.

Incidentally, a few weeks ago, I heard about Bitcoin faucet. And... I just tried it. For that I had to create a wallet and I earned my first satoshis.

Faucets really helped me to know a little bit more about how to operate with Bitcoin (how to have a wallet, how to receive a payment).

I tried to know a little bit more about how Bitcoin is working, and I discovered this forum.

So faucet are usefull to join Bitcoin and begin operating with them.

I think I will abandon faucet after making my first deposit of real money (I then will realize that what they give you is almost nothing).

As an addition way to earn BTC i'd highly suggest looking into the Credits Currency.
Any BTC you own can be used to claim Credits of which you can sell for BTC if you so wish.

It's a very interesting project and its available to all Bitcoin users.

Please feel free to click my Credits Banner below if you would like to obtain more information on getting started!

That's what were talking about is education.   I said the usb miner would be better at helping someone learn about btc then a faucet.

I just don't see a faucet as a good educational tool.  And yes this and faucets cause dust.   If you do micro payments that will happen.

Is not like someone is making you use the faucets, i seriously dont understand how you can think something that gives you literally free money, doesnt matter how low, is bad. And yes its educational because its not the same to read about bitcoins as to have bitcoins and use them to see how the transactions work

The educational part is minimal.  Compare time spent on faucet if they try to make money (which will be cents).  Compared to reading about bitcoins.  Most that believe in faucets do faucets far more then they read.

I say faucet's and typing in captacha will bring only small amount of knowledge.  This assumes they are a heavy user of faucets.

I think you offer it here only becouse you are getting few cents form every user. But that is not important now, important is that nobody can get much coins by it, yes signature c. is very good for get them, also you can find some job on internet, especial good for it is translating, there are many new webs which are oriented on cryptos, most of them to bitcoin and they need to be multi-languages.

Hi there guys, if this is your first time in Crypto World
You can get your first BTC from faucets

i've compiled a list of faucet that accepts faucetbox here >>> http://fboxr.tk/ 349 In Total
its easy because all you need to do is CLICK NEXT TO START then
put your BTC address, type the captcha and CLICK NEXT again

then i also compiled another faucet for XAPO users >>> http://xapor.tk/

if you don't have any wallet, you could make one at XAPO
is there any other way to earn free btc beside from faucet and you seem you directly ask people to use xapo wallet. Can you tell me the reason?

There are some faucets that's directly pay to Xapo wallet that's why others make a seperate rotator for those faucets to make it organized and don't blend to Faucetbox faucets.

It's obvious that signature campaign is better than faucets and I think a 6 months old baby knows this but I don't get why you guys compare signature campaign to faucets. They are totally different. Just leave what faucets used to be.
