For some reason i cant edit my initial post.... but since i didnt realize there are such horrible people out there...i need to add these stipulations to my initial post   NO BODY MUTILATION, NO SUICIDE, AND NO MANDATORY FEES.   if i join your religion and there is a optional tithe or percent of income to donate to help the cause of religion  that is acceptable. but no scams saying i need to pay you hundreds of btc a month/week

In fact, I consider this to be the healthiest, happiest, and safest choice of all. I pledge additional btc 0.2 to this cause, thereby raising the total to btc 0.4 + Akka doing whatever (s)he desires on the next weekend.

and i dont want to avoid reading...i dont want to read about every single religion...i will read and study whatever form of "bible" that wins... im ready to try and believe in anything if its going to make me understand my purpose on earth or an afterlife.

You said that you would be prepared to give this a 6 months trial, so here's my proposal - it isn't exactly a religion, more an alternative to them, hopefully leading to an awareness beyond what most religions have on their menus, it is that you will agree read 1 book per month, for 6 months, that I will buy second hand from eBay or somewhere & get mailed direct to an address where you can receive them at, I may add in up to 6 DVDs for you to watch also but haven't thought much about that as yet, the first 3 books (unless you've read them already) would most likely be:

Ekhart Tolle: The Power of Now & A New Earth
Rob Brezsny: Pronoia

otah  thats sounds like a great idea...im not familiar with those books...but youve peaked my interest...if those books can help me make sense of all of this im looking forward to you being the high bidder..  i really doubt anyone else would give such an offer

Otoh, great suggestion. I've never heard of Ekhart Tolle before, but reading about his "teachings" reminded me of one of my favorite thinkers, Jiddu Krishnamurti. Sure enough, it turned out that Tolle himself has stated that Krishnamurti was a major influence.

yep, I believe that you are right strictly speaking, but to me it's more like someone asking about different flavors of baby food which while they can be nutritious you don't necessarily want to be feeding on these your whole life & I was offered her a 6 month course in hopefully learning how to grow, harvest, gather & hunt, prepare, cook, serve, share & enjoy much more interesting fare imo. Anyway seems she couldn't face the forum cynicism & trollery & has taken herself off in a huff - I just put Alister Crowley's 666 on my eBay watch list for her too after reading her last posts, all roads lead there - some are just more tortuous.
