That's true if the price for bitcoin was different in lower way and if it would not make such high jumps - then probably bitcoin would not be so interesting as it today. Only little group of some computer nerds would know about bitcoin and that's it.

Investing and holding bitcoin is not easy because you are risking the money for a long time and without knowing if the bitcoin price will increase or not.

Only those people invest in bitcoin and hold them for longer who have done a good research about bitcoin and who have a good knowledge about bitcoin and after their research they know that bitcoin will not drop further and if any drop occur then it will not be for longer or permanent but it will go more better in price in the coming future.

For the past 3 months the bitcoin price has changed rapidly from $600 to mostly $800 now which is a big change in my opinion.
From the graphs we can see that it was a good increase even though there were some dumps but not much noticeable.

If the price of bitcoin was lower then most investors will probably move out their money to something else they could get more profits, since they are not in bitcoin for the possible future implications it may have in our world they are in it for the money.

What I have witnessed for my longer time of staying here in the cryptoworld is that, when the price of bitcoin is good like what we are seeing now, more people will adopt and it's increasing which is really great for long term investor. You forget about big whales hiding just around the corner. Some folks here claim that they can easily bring the price down a few hundred dollars, and they don't even consider themselves as whales at that. It remains to be seen, though, if they can really bring the price down so much, but it should be evident that if a few whales decided to cash out (not necessarily Satoshi himself), we would certainly have hard times ahead (in respect to Bitcoin price)...
