Yes its like a dollar exchange the value is optinal it will either increase or decrease.
It is a favor for the bitcoiner if the value increase.
I can kept or just hold it for a while.If the value increases then go and sell.
I appreciate my self for being good steward of money.
That is the reason why people invest their money in these digital currency. It has a good volatile price that can give them profit. With the price increase, I think they are really happy from the profits that they have earned. I will also keep holding my coins until I am satisfied with what I have. |

If the bitcoin's price does not really matter to you, I'm different and I would say that the price does matter for me. I'm getting the profit depending on the price of bitcoin. If the price is high for this week then consider that I got good amount for this week when I tried to sell my bitcoins but if the price is low, I won't sell it. The price does matter if you are an investor like me, thats the reason why we are investing and earning at the same time. just like now i invest my money in it and fortunately its slowly growing. well it depends on whats the uses of btc to you, if you are using it to use to buy items online then i guess you wont bother for the movement of its value. |

This will not work out if the scaling wouldn't get solved some day. All that settlement only nonsense arrives to late trying to followup gems or gringots who got a first mover advantage way back in history. |

This will not work out if the scaling wouldn't get solved some day. yes the price of bitcoin matter for holder for investors and for users, everyone is depending on the price of bitcoin. for me the price of bitcoin really matter, because i am holding and invested a decent amount of bitcoin in different places. This will be our chance to make money in the future, bitcoin's value has been increasing and I believe it will continue since the demand is quite big this year. Volatility of price is not a concern anymore since it is the nature of bitcoin but what I am after of is the future since this is a very unique technology that could bring major improvement in terms of online financial transactions. If you understand the project very well, you will not hesitate to hold this longer. |

Maybe for some people who already have invested,it does matter to them. Especially when the price increases. But of course it matters to everyone, people who are in need.
yes that right, those people who are engaged to bitcoin must have too much value for bitcoin. to me the price of bitcoin really matter because i have already invested a good amount of my money in bitcoin similarly those people who have invested money in bitcoin or those who are trading altcoin have also too much value for the price of bitcoin. |

If I answer you no then I'll be lying. Even though my hope is for us to see 1 btc equivalent to 1 btc some day with the price of fiat mean nothing to us, the current movement of the price still gives us the indication in how well accepted btc is and its demand. I do agree with your reasoning but until the I will still closely follow the btc price movement.
Yes, bitcoin price is very important because it is one of the reason why many users still remain using it. Its movement has a effect on everyone especially when it fall. Some people can consider that a low price is useless because it can help them to provide that they need. |

What actually matter is not the actual price, it's the trend.
If the price is stable or rising, the adoption increases. People and businesses get more confident in bitcoin and start using it. More miners start up their gears.
If the price is falling, people get scared / suspicious and will go away from bitcoin.
But the trend you are pointing is made possible by the price of bitcoin. I get your point that the development of bitcoin depends on the support of the community which is equal to what you called the trend. It is much more dependent to each other i guess because the sudden move in the market stock make changes on the development of the price of bitcoin in order for a wider development for its transaction and security. So for me it matter as well as the support of the bitcoin matters in its development. |

Price will always matter , even if its trending atm if people can't buy because of high price then they'll not be able to contribute in Bitcoin community. another example that price do matter is when Bitcoin is like the price of dogecoin always stable investor will not invest in it because they are not seeing any potential.

i agree with you because with the price is too expensive, we can not buy a whole bitcoin and we can only buy part by part of bitcoin and if we have big budget, then we can buy 1 bitcoin. the price is matter because if the price is down, then we can buy with cheap and if the price is up, we can prepare to sell it so we can get profit. |
