It is not the price, but the market cap which matters. The major fiat currencies such as the USD and the EUR are having a market cap of around $1.5 trillion. Right now, Bitcoin is far behind. But as far as Bitcoin is concerned, the total number of coins are limited by the principle of controlled supply. So the prices indirectly matters, as they are proportional to the market cap (unlike the case with USD/EUR).

of course the price matters. it matters for 90% of the people who bought their coins. if the price is stable more people are willing to convert their savings into bitcoin. which isn't the case right now.
Yes its very important because this is the basis of some people if they are going to sell or buy it to get more profit. Last month the price of bitcoin is stable but right now its not. yes we cannot ignore the importance of bitcoin. in fact bitcoin price keep to much importance for everyone who is related and touch to bitcoin in any field, in fact we want the price of bitcoin too much stable so that more and more day businessmen start investing money in bitcoin. I am sure that very soon the big big investors will invest money in bitcoin. |

for me its price does not matter since i'm a holder. my aim is getting bitcoins as much as i can so that i can cash them out when we hit high prices. always focuss on its number not its price.

Why are you holding? You are planning to cashout at a higher price and yet you said price does not matter? How ironic. Price matters because it determines a holder like you when to hold and when to cash out. It gives us a go signal when to buy and when to hold ourselves from buying. It also tells us when to sell. |

There have been endless discussions on this, the only thing it coms to is the fact, that are you in it for the technology or do you have money invested. If you are a person using it for sending money to another place, and only buy it at the point of the use, then it doesn't matter. But if you happen to store it for long term, then obviously it matters as you will essentially be losing money on it.

This what I'm seeing two, Besides that, Transaction fee is very expensive and bitcoin scaling is not yet resolve that results for slower transaction confirmation. |

obviously, it matters... without increasing profit ow we can gain profit if the price will not increase then why people invest there..? I think the price is the prime issue of this matter.if you have no chance to gain profit then you never go to invest any single penny anywhere. so it can be said that price is a matter for bitcoin... |

Price represent the value of bitcoin, when the price is high people love to invest with it and when it dump people panic. It's the scenario that's why smart people love to stay here because they can easily make money from dump people entering without enough knowledge. |

Agreed and also some services rates also following the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is really matter to all bitcoin user. Bitcoin become the place for investment too, since the bitcoin's price increase so high nowdays. I think if the bitcoin's price keep increase, more people will come and start interest on bitcoin. |

of course, it matters.
price is the main concern of an investor so it can not be denied anyway, here profit-making would be the main reason for investors, so good price always encourages to more investment, on the other hand, bad price influences to stay away from bitcoin...

Yeah your reason is right but Bitcoin is still unpredictable and everyday bitcoin value have a movement. Yes pricing of bitcoin have a big factor and once the value of it fluctuate the user of it will panic and they leave it but if you notice the value of it, it is better that the value of it is always on the top to encourage more investor. As long as the bitcoin is with in the higher price many user of it will still using on it.

I am mostly doing crypto trading like ethereum to bitcoins and vice versa with like 10 plus coins. Therefore I am never too worried about the bitcoin's price but actually when I have made some profit the only way to know it is by cashing it and hence the price does matters. Guys understand the picture if we are holding bitcoins we are holding because we want to earn through it, we are all online to earn some bucks, ain't it ? |

But if we see that bitcoin is become good investment, tje merchant should not afraid about bitcoin. in fact there is a lot of fluctuation in the price of bitcoin which is really making them reluctant to invest. we can see that some time the price of bitcoin fell down a lot more than 600 $ in a single day that is really huge fluctuation, but i am hopeful that when the price of bitcoin will become a little stable then it will become possible for merchants to invest their money here in bitcoin. but i think they have to wait for that. |
