Sia my love. Just burn half of the supply and everything will be ok  Everything is under circulation so supply is not a problem. I don't know about the miners though if they are earning fast. All we need to do is wait for Sia's turn to get pump. But nice updates would be nice.  |

The blockchain is is inside %Appdata% (/users/your_user/appdata/roaming/Sia-UI). I deleted it and updated to 1.3. But it still tries to download the blockchain on my SSD dist. What can I do?
There is a second consensus folder located inside the installation folder. If I am not wrong, in version 1.3 the raw blocks are first downloaded to the %appdata% folder, and once they are validated they are moved to the consensus folder of the installation. Once the sync is complete, you will end up with a very small %appdata% folder. If you want to accelerate the sync, do bootstrapping ( https://siawiki.tech/daemon/bootstrapping_the_blockchain) the canonical way is downloading the file to %appdata%, but I have seen people downloading it directly to the installation folder. You could try either way Unfortunately it is not working. There is no second consensus folder in the installation folder and the consensus folder from appdata also doesn't move to my installation folder after completing the syncing. Would be thankful for other suggestions. |

The other consensus folder is inside where you installed Sia, in the following path: \Sia\resources\app\Sia\consensus If you are using version 1.3, The actual blockchain (7.3Gb) is stored there instead of %appdata%. Try to do the bootstrapping there Alternatively, if you need to run Sia exclusively on a different drive without using %appdata% folders, even just for temporal drives, you can download the Daemon instead of the UI from Sia's webpage, and it will run exclusively locally on the folder you uncompress the zip file. But you will only be able to use Sia in a command line interface, not using a UI |

Not form hosts, but from the renter's money used to form the file contracts (the allowance). A 3.9% of the whole file contract cost is deducted from the allowance and paid to SiaFunds holders. SF is a second coin in the network ( https://siawiki.tech/wallet/siafund). From the total 10000SF, 8851 are owned by Nebulous and the rest was sold 2 years ago in the initial IPO. As Siacoins were never strictly pre-mined (only the first 100 blocks), SFs are the only income source of Nebulous, and a tool to encourage them to work for increasing the adoption of Sia, as they will not be really profitable until the use of the network increases. |

ahah btc-eur is going so low at the moment, i might buy some more coins yes. when SIA releases a new wallet and solves the current wallet performance issue, market will be drawn to this project like it did three months ago. Then price will soar to a very very high level! i ecpect a rise of 7x from current level within 6 months if you do the calculatíon properly! |

Won't google/amazon etc just bring their own cheap decentralised storage and customers will just stay with them when they match the price sia charges?

I doubt it, the amount of work by the devs to get the project to this stage is staggering so not so easily reproduced. Possible they may sub contract to Sia though |

Of course not. Google and amazon have VERY high fixed costs and things like that. Sia coin cannot fall too much now because the lower it falls, the cheaper the service. This will only make sia coin skyrocket when it gains popularity for its value service! BUY BUY BUY BUY!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Jesus Christ. Why there is such an amount of noobs surrounding this project? Have you ever seen a market cycle in your life? I'm sorry if you FOMO'ed into SC when it was >300 SAT but we're in a depression state right now and fundamentals didn't change at all - both FA and TA suggest you to accumulate as much as you can in these prices.
