Is this common that sia block was generated 1.5 2h ago?

Normally the average block time is 10 minutes, but due to a bug that arouse on December it is currently 30 minutes. So yes, due to the normal variance of mining, 2 (or even 3) hours between blocks can be normal, the same as having 4 blocks in 40 minutes.

The hardfork at block 139000 (in 9 days) is aimed to return the average block time to 10 minutes.

So i guess a bitcoin protocol emulator for the subset of rpc calls that I use and at least a 2of2 multisig, but preferably CLTV mechanism to be able to handle both sides of the trade... this would require making changes to the existing barterDEX code, unless the bitcoin protocol emulator is really, really good and it actually works as a bitcoin protocol coin via rpc calls"

Sia is a competitive marketplace, so you decide your own pricing, but of course you will want to stay competitive to get more file contracts for your host. The Sia client of renters will assign you an score according to many factors, including your pricing (also the age of your host or how much remaining storage you have) and will pick up only the best scored hosts.

As a suggestion, you can check this table "Top 100 hosts average settings" to get an idea of what competitive hosts are doing: https://www.siastats.info/hosts_network.html . To answer your question, they are asking right now for 50SC/TB/month on average

From what I read in your requirements, I am not sure Sia could be compatible:

- I am not sure about the extent of your definition of "bitcoin protocol": Sia is not a Bitcoin-derived coin. While it keeps similarities, its whole code was written from the scratch as far as I am aware. It is written in Golang programming language.
- Sia has not 8-digit decimals: it can be divided in 24 decimal fractions (called Hastings).

Yesterday I installed SC wallet on my Windows PC. It started to sync but it is still not syncronized.
I have 2 questions:

1.Anybody know will a SC holder get another new SC after the hard fork or the coming hardfork will only solve some SC net problems?

2. Should I send all my Scoins to my wallet during hardfork time or I can let'em be at that burse where I had bought'em?

Before going off for vacations I remember people were keep asking when it will be up. Siacoin has seen lot of appreciation but this isn't the peak in my opinion. We are in first few days of the year which is probably going to be best for these markets in coming.

Nobody answered my questions. But I've found the info I need, maybe it will be useful for somebody like me too. Here you are:

When will the hardfork occur?
The hardfork will occur at block 139,000.

You can check the current Sia block height at the official block explorer.

There is not an exact calendar time associated with the fork, but we can estimate based on average block time. At the time of this writing, there are 139,000 - 138,426 = 574 blocks until the hardfork. At ~30 minutes per block, the hardfork is on track to occur in ~12 days, on 2018-01-21.

SiaStats shows a countdown with the most up to date estimate of when the hardfork will occur.

Why do some sources say the hardfork will occur on Jan. 31st, 2018?
Because those sources are incorrect.

Will the hardfork result in new coins?
No.

Hardforks only result in new coins when the fork is contentious (i.e. a separate group is supporting the old fork). This is an uncontroversial hardfork and no development team has expressed interest in supporting the old fork.

Didn't the hardfork occur already at block 135,000?
There are two separate hardforks.

The first one did occur already at block 135,000, on 2017-12-06. But that hardfork contained an unforeseen bug, which required Sia to undergo a second hardfork, which will occur at block 139,000.

Why are these hardforks occurring?
The Sia difficult adjustment algorithm needed a change to ensure that when ASICs begin mining Siacoin in mid-2018, the massive change in hashrate will not break Sia's consensus functionality. The first hardfork (at 135,000) was an attempt to make this change, but it included a bug, which necessitated a second hardfork (at 139,000).

What do I need to do to prepare for the hardfork?
If you run a Sia node (e.g. Sia-UI), upgrade to 1.3.1 or later.

But don't worry, even if you don't do this, your coins are not at risk. You can always upgrade later and recover your coins from your wallet seed.

Does it matter if my coins are in an exchange when the hardfork occurs?
No. Regardless of whether your coins are in an exchange or your local wallet at the time of the hardfork, there will be no change to your coins before or after the fork.

What will change after the hardfork occurs?
Block times will reduce from ~30 minutes to ~10 minutes. It currently takes ~30 minutes for each transaction confirmation. After the hardfork, confirmations will occur roughly every 10 minutes (the same speed they were prior to the 135,000 hardfork).

For Siacoin miners, this will bring mining yields back to roughly the same level they were before the first hardfork on 2017-12-06.
