Bitfinex 30M CLOSE 1x1

This is a fulcrum (continuation pattern). In order to confirm the pattern we need to keep on climbing in the right channel and close 30m at least at 402.

Closing at 396 is a sell.
If we go sideways for 2-3 more columns we will probably go down too.

Even closing at 399 would be a buy IMHO.

So it is 396 or 399 if it happens SOON, if we keep bouncing 397-398 for a couple of more columns (so about 2-3h at most), it is going down.

In case we fall we will visit at least the 388-390 closing prices. Below that I don't know, I would risk to say it will not hold.

Strange, yet attractive.

Let me remind you that we're at the "pillow" that we fell on when we hit the $500 level. Eventhough I'd like to see some volume to support my claim, I'd bet my bitcoins that we go up to the next level...

The nice thing to follow is the LTC (which I personally thought that it would cover its losses much earlier). There's a strong buy signal if we cross $4.50-$4.90 area. Again, as I wrote above, this should be done with a significant volume too.

Cheers.

Chaos could be a form of intelligence we cannot yet understand its complexity.

Updated. Looking at it again I am bullish, we made a nice double bottom with higher lows*. Now the accumulation/distribution at 397-398 is more clear, I think we will soon breakout.

We have a last resistance in the 405 zone though.

*EDIT: Also a higher high.

This one is better than ChartBuddy's hourly speculation of prices.

It had a detailed info about each of the initial and closing trade volumes.

Can you please make me understand how this one works?

No offence, but I just feel like it's a bigger version of Tic-Tac-Toe.

For the time being ignore the last charts, they are a special case (1 box reversal).

Read the basics in the link I posted.

Be careful for a bear trap.

So you contradict your previous analysis?

"Closing at 396 is a sell.
If we go sideways for 2-3 more columns we will probably go down too."

How Ripple Rips you: "The founders of Ripple Labs created 100 billion XRP at Ripple's inception. No more can be created according to the rules of the Ripple protocol. Of the 100 billion created, 20 billion XRP were retained by the creators, seeders, venture capital companies and other founders. The remaining 80 billion were given to Ripple Labs. Ripple Labs intends to distribute and sell 55 of that 80 billion XRP to users and strategic partners. Ripple Labs also had a giveaway of under 200 million XRP (0.002% of all XRP) via World Community Grid that was later discontinued.[29] Ripple Labs will retain the remaining 25 billion"

This pump is okcoin bot induced. Imho the only question is when they'll turn it off.

Trap would be only 1 box lower low and then higher high (it did not happen).

BTW the fulcrum pattern was obviously not completed and the 396 close did indeed gave lower prices. 390s holds for the moment.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on this (not PnF related).

I think these bots (Market Maker, whales, or whoever they are) generally respect the long term trend (currently bullish) and try to push traders in the opposite direction with smaller term trends.

So if it it trending upwards they try to scare holders where if it is bearish they try to make you buy on the resistances ('It will breakout!' - but you get dumped).

PS: The chart I posted was a short term one, just wanted to clarify this.

I concur taht bots are amplifying the market feeling, altho it also seems people are actually being dumped on from the 240/260 stealth accumulation phase as depicted by RyNinDaCleM

Anyway, wether it being willy bot or okcoin bot, volatility is good for trading Smiley

Wow, I had to look at XRP for ages!

If BTC tops here I agree. Also, I see a nice XRPBTC double bottom (3d)!

What worries me though (in case BTC collapses) is not the XRPBTC pair but the XRPUSD one...

I just sold in the recent move up my trading stash for dollars. On the 15/16.12 is the fed meeting and i expect a rate rise, causing capital flow into the dollar. (especially a euro dump) I am not sure how the impact on bitcoin will be but i just want to play it safe.

I concur defeat at 515$, buyback at 330$.

Edit: Bitcoin is a wonderful tool to flee from one crashing currency(€) to a stronger one($). Smiley
