Just had a funny game at CORE but my score is so low: I'd better pure gamble seems like am not that skilled     

Wonder how did all time scorers manage to hit that big.

Someone of you "skilled guys" should just register themselves while playing and upload their video somewhere: If I was that good I would have surely done ....just for bragging purposes lol

We modified the original protect the core game for C.O.R.E. to have a slowly degrading shield among many other changes, this is what makes the game not 100% skill based but rather 95% skill based. You can purchase power-ups to extend your shields though before the game starts, also it cuts down on extremely lengthy single games.

Well, in less than one minute my shield disappeared  and the 95% skill part was completely disappeared with it.
I'm a fan of old games where the most skill incremented the lenght of the game

Longer games is bad for BB, it means people gamble fewer Rubies, so of course they want as short a game as possible.

There is no way to make the all time high score list now since the shield dies so quickly. I like the idea of it being shorter though, as wormat said it means more games, also means you need to maximize the duration of the game.

Was anything else changed? I had a huge blue core, but when I tried to use its energy for a shield it exploded on me almost  immediately. Its impossible to get over 2000 points (I played a few rounds), because when the shield runs out you have to rely on the power up shield until some powerups float by
