Im not sure if you guys are related to this or sold the source of your site to this guy but this totally looks like betterbets or should I say exact copy. I thought that you guys added Cryptojacks to your site however when I access betterbets.io I dont find anything that can let me bet with CJ. Clarification would be nice

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1606657.0Yes, the CryptoJacks project bought a license to the BetterBets source code. The deal made sense to us from a financial point of view and given their project's focus (giving CryptoJacks coin a real world usage option) we don't feel that their site will impact our operations very much. As such, their site's use of our code is legit and approved.
Does this mean everyone can buy and use your script as long as they offer you a good amount? Well I dont really against this decision however this kind of things makes your site less unique from my point of view. You should be keeping your code and this means your site will have higher value in the future incase you wish to sell it
Sort of. While we are susceptible to being bribed into selling our code, we take care to sell it under certain conditions (no redistribution, no resale, etc) and try to make sure that we sell it to parties we don't think will evolve into direct competitors.
To elaborate on that: We've known the CryptoJacks guys for a while now and we felt that their main aim was to give their coin another use case so from our perspective that deal made sense; if they manage to get some decent BTC volume, so be it but we'll survive their competition. We had another interested party who we turned down because we felt that they would be a more direct competitor to us and the money they offered wasn't worth the risk of that happening. So it all depends on the specific use-case.
Also realize, that any competent programmer could build a site like BetterBets; there's no magic involved and it just comes down to hard and dedicated work so we can't block anybody from entering the industry. In addition to this, as we found out ourselves, it takes quite a bit of hard and consistent work to build a site into a top-ten casino; the source code is just one part of the puzzle.
Having said this, I can assure you that we have some cool future plans which will ensure our viability and ensure that BetterBets remains a relevant gambling site and that our stakeholders will continue to receive decent income from their investment.
Bjorn is not feeling well, so he'll be laying low for a few days.
Also, has been brought to my attention that some stakeholders are not very happy about our decision to license our code to the CJ team. If you are one of these people who have concerns, I would invite you to discuss this with me either directly on skype or here on these forums.
As I stated above, we had taken the decision to license our code responsibly with the aim of raising some cash and not to damage our operations. If you desire clarifications or have other concerns, I would invite you to discuss this with me (us, once Bjorn is back) on one of the channels mentioned in the paragraph above.
