Read in Freenode #bitcoin that WebRTC exposes IP addresses even behind VPN, proxy...

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Yes, but remember they are still in beta testing mode. You cannot expect this service to be 100% when it barely entered Beta phase.

A day ago, they had NO listings on their site or a index of streamed content, and a day later they had it up and running.  Wink

I am looking at the APP's potential for being a killer APP in future, not NOW.

If Periscope and Meerkat decide to go the same route, they might be a bit of competition, but for NOW they are unique. {Decentralized}

WebRTC is still in beta testing? I thought that had the vuln (like some other libraries in recent years), not Streamium actual.

Yeah, it's an issue with WebRTC.

WebRTC implement STUN (Session Traversal Utilities for Nat), a protocol that allows to discover the public IP address.

IIRC, there isn't a solution for Chrome but you can disable some settings in FF to prevent it leaking your IP via STUN.

To be honest I kinda doubt it because:

Apart from that they clearly state that currently there are "known security issues".

If that turns off the kiddie fiddlers then I'm all for it.

It is too early to say that Streamium will be the killer bitcoin app in the future. I am not saying that we leave that possibility behind. Streamium has advantages that can possibly take it to the next level and be the best bitcoin app but it has also many shortcomings and weaknesses. For now only time can tell if Streamium will be the biggest Bitcoin App in the market but if it isnt it still not matters for the owner will still earn bigtime.

I guess they have done a facebook and can prove the streams are untappable. If so, they can sit back and watch the money roll in as all sorts of unspeakable things get streamed.

I have not done it yet. But I am thinking this again will be crowded by those who do live porns in webcams. Well there will be a lot of viewers specially men.
What else could you do live that could be entertaining to others? None except porn.
Are there rules here to which videos will be streamed or there will be no filtering the contents? I doubt that because it is live.
