i'd say i recommended or talked about bitcoin to roughly 30 friends, of which half has a technical/IT background, only 1 accepted the idea and is using it. Others are just complaining how it's overpriced and dumb to buy something so overpriced and without 'real' value.

I keep a physical coin on me all the time. It helps having something to show people while explaining bitcoin to them. All my friends know about bitcoin to some extent.

I have recommended BTC for my friends, and  keep the coins for the future and not convert it to dollar unless they needed the cash urgently. People are taken by surprise by bitcoin's volatility.

Ya everyone knows but nobody is ready to invest in bitcoins as it requires initial investment at the primary stage. I introduced to my friends and they were really excited but when it comes to investment they just turn off their faces as they don't trust bitcoin as they have never used it.

As of today, I only have talked to family members about Bitcoin, I refuse to talk to friends about Bitcoin. They will either ignore it because they are clueless, or they will get too hyped, buy in too much, then complain as soon as we get a price correction. I say no to that and i'll keep it to myself.

Yeah, Bitcoin will take a while for people to wrap their heads around; it really represents a paradigm shift.

Yeah and I think it would take more time then we expect as it is simply horrible when you introduce something good to people around you they will start making faces that is the human nature but i hope they get into it as quick as possible.

Told  a fair fer friends who actually use it and found some work friends also use it and trade it. Is good to know that people at work use it and can have a good chat around it on brakes and seems more start asking what it is and getting other people evolved in it. Just wish Bitcoin would take over and smash paypal out the window one day Smiley

Anyone that is "awake" to governemnt/financial corruption going on EVERYWHERE in the world should be interested in btc.  If they are already investing in gold/silver, they should consider adding SOME btc to their portfolio, even if only a few.  Looking at the price movement related to the greek situation, i am feeling more confident that btc will continue to rise as more countries have to face they're economic crises...

0 so far, they're not that interested though. Because I don't wanna be blamed for recommending non-potential investment to them, if Bitcoin achieve nothing.
if the price of Bitcoin rises up ,i think more and more people will pay  attention to it .

Yeah thats right they only depend on its price not its value, they just wait until the price of bitcoin goes up then they will used it and if the price of bitcoin goes down they not again used it they will wait again.

I have recommended Bitcoin to many friends.  All of them rejected it thinking it was some kind of scam and they thought I was naive for believing in it.

Dozens, almost all of them IT literate and most of them work in IT. A couple of them bought some hoping for a price spike (neither of them has ever used it as a currency) the rest just mock it.

As far as I'm concerned that's a good reason to keep buying. I was around pre-Internet and pre-email and what I'm seeing now isn't much different. There are a lot of people out there who don't understand how useful what they're looking at is even when you sit down and show them, but at some point they're going to get it, and crypto is just going to explode overnight.
