I have recommended bitcoin to 4 friends for last 4 months. But until now only one of my friend found that bitcoin is interesting and start to learn about bitcoin with faucet. He hasn't registered on this forum, right now he still play a game faucet. He told me that he would use his bitcoin to bought some digital services Grin

I've recommended bitcoin to numerous people over the last 2 years & as far as I'm aware only one has bought in. I'm not overly pushy as I don't want to be responsible for people losing money but I have tried to explain it to a lot of people.

I can recommend bitcoins to my friends, my family and relatives but I don't think it's going to be easy for me to explain further that they will accept it since i'm not that familiar yet with bitcoins.
Thats right, you must clear it to yourself before recommend it to your relatives or friend, its so very hard to explain to them what is bitcoin and you know to yourself that you didn't yet fully understand what is bitcoin.

I tried to convince my best friend, (unemployed) to try bitcoin for at least a few weeks and seek earning opportunity and I even walked him through the process of signing up with a BTC wallet and even sent him a few coins to start with. End of the story, he didn't get the idea and would rather ask for money from relatives.

I have told plenty of people around me about Bitcoin and only a very few of them are still some sort of interested in it. One of them is accepting Bitcoin solely for side jobs which is great for him as he don't need to deal with PayPal anymore. He keeps 50% of them for holding/investment purposes and the other part gets converted to EUR.

I've spoken to quite a number of people about bitcoin and so far I could only get two to actually setup wallets and to buy some dust from me.

Most of the others like the concept, although few understand it fully, but they are still to sceptical to invest anything. Think the overriding reason is that there are not many places where they can spend it at this stage.

I tried to pull 2 of my close friends to get into bitcoin. I recommend them to buy some bitcoins and asked them to hold it for next 10 years for 1000 times profit. One friend successfully accepted and bought some bitcoin. But the another one still keep on thinking whether to enter or not.

I told my friends about bitcoin and its revolutionary features but they don't care at all, they don't care if it's decentralized and don't have issues with using a bank and spending their fiat. They don't have anything against a bank because they are already sucked in the sheep mentality by society. The average person is very hard to get into bitcoin, only way is giving them huge incentives or making them use it through banks or something. Now when i mention bitcoin they get annoyed and say things like dont start this bitcoin crap again.

So just telling them doesn't work really, what does work i actually showing them, so they use whatsapp alot and i showed them getgems how i can send money like sending a message without a bank which they found impressive and i paid in front of a them with bitcoin buying food online and their jaw pretty much dropped and found it pretty cool.

Another reason they don't care and i actually agree with them, is the fact that there is a huge lack of spending power with bitcoin in shops which is one of the main reasons the average person doesn't care cus they can't do much with it, for a non trader or investor there isn't much to do with bitcoin.

some shitty friends are just jealouse im telling it and their ego doesnt let them admit how cool bitcoin is, only way for these stuck up losers is to shove bitcoin through their trowths by a bank or something or if mcdonald, starbucks etc accepted bitcoin we would be set.

I had spread the word "BITCOIN" TO ALMOST 90% OF MY FRIENDS. It was nice and i feel really good in discussing that...

The moment.i said 1 bitcoin= $231 they were like Shocked Shocked Shocked
They were asking things just like kids asks questions to teachers..
I went on discussion taking all positive points and defending some negative points

After the discussion i asked them their feedback.... They said only thing ""WWOOWW!!! WE REALLY WANT TO PROMOTE BITCOIN USING IT IN NET TRANSACTIONS AND IF ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO GROW IT TELL US... WAT SHALL WE DO??"""

I replied saying " WHY DONT YOU JOIN ME SPREADING THE WORD BITCOIN??"""

And they were all happy to team with me spreading the word " Bitcoin "...
