Once I recommended  bitcoin to one of my friends
But he did not show any interesting in crypro currencys at all

This had happened to me also. But, we need to follow them by asking them to search in google for bitcoins. I just showed my friends the predictions of bitcoin prices in reddit posts. When they see, bitcoin may hit 1M per coin like that, my friends changed their view on bitcoin. 2 of my friends already bought some bitcoins. We need to spread word on bitcoin for our growth.

I have told a few, but all are skeptical
This is the problem I've had, but I've seen if you get them to download an app and send them a few dollars they become a lot less skeptical.
what do you guys mean by skeptical ? i dont get it , as far as i know its good to be skeptical in the crypto world as you come across scams every minute, you would have to convince them the correct way.

I know many people who have heard of bitcoin, but they see it as a passing fad, or a volatile untrustworthy scheme.

I've recommended BTC to many of my friends and even to friends of my friends. Very few of them took some steps to learn more and no one unfortunately really accepted.
We need TV shows and movies about BTC, lots of them, and only then the situation will start to change. (to a positive one  I hope)

I recommended bitcoin to two friends last week. They said that bitcoin were interesting so they wanted to start learning about bitcoin from this forum. I introduced faucet and bitcointalk to them so they can learn about bitcoin from beginning.

Awesome, you probably did them a huge favor introducing them here and to Bitcoin in general when bitcoins prices are so low. And not to mention on this forum there are other topics being discussed like politics, the economy, etc. I think ever since I joined it gave me a broader view of everything in general and allowed me to start looking at an issue from both sides of the spectrum. I don't know if that was just for me kind of thing.. But in general it got me to start thinking outside the box on some things.

That must be the genes that your brother is as much inrested like you are. Smiley
That's pretty cool. I have talked to many people about Bitcoin. And sometimes they come to me and say they have read again about Bitcoin in the newspaper. But that's pretty much it. No one really owns Bitcoin, maybe a few Satoshis. They're even not interested how money works although their whole living standard and life is made of it.Really disappointing.

you should take note to them that they not must to gamble and they should focus on earning and you can also though them how to earn profit from their coins like teaching them how to trade.

People are just to scared to invest on Internet or try something new and revolutionary.
We need more public videos that can easily dispel the myths about bitcoin. A lot of people I've talked to think it's only for drugs and hackers.

Honestly, I don't think public videos published on youtube really isn't going to change anything.  If we want to see a big mass adoption on this, we would need "reputable" media(CNN, etc.) to start covering the recent events of what's going on like big banks investing into the idea of the blockchain... unfortunately no one mainstream really cares unfortunately..
